  • hey why aren't you doing a full range of motion handstand push up on the parallel bars? you only go as deep as hand level. I hear going past your hands is more challenging?

  • i can think of 2, running and squats

  • with no weights? try:

    prison squats

    calf raises

    jumping squats

    short sprints

  • 1 legged squats running up stairs hieght jumps calf raises depends on what you are aiming for just strenght or to tone or power speed

  • Yeah, I'd like to know a bit about your diet... do you take supplements or anything. For us skinny guys you can do loads of excercise while maintaining a high protein diet and get thinner and thinner because of the high metabolism. Can you shoot a comment on how you're caring for yourself when outside of training?

  • well you need to keep in mind, that you have to eat a balanced diet, not just high protein. You should consume complex carbs such as oatmeal, whole grain and wheat breads, brown rice, sweat potatoes, ect, as well as healthy fats such as olive oil. Peanut butter is great as well.

  • I love the gym but watching this makes me want to get back in the parks. Only thing stopping me is the cold weather. We have a pull up/dip bar in the gym but it's just not the same as the ones in the parks.

  • you gotta eat like a horse though and eat right, muscles won't come from the exercises alone.

    This guy still uses weight vests though, he's not 100% bodyweight only.

  • He doesn't promise instruction, he is just showing the advanced moves. I didnt buy Jay Cutlers DvD for his work out advice I did it to watch a master work. I would buy the dvd just to see this freak swinging around those parallel dip bars.

  • yes the instructional is being shot as we speak so look for it this winter, and thanks for all the support on our current dvd, is doing GREAT !!!! especially internationally.

  • i always wanted to do an instructional demostration video for people who cannot afford a gym membership but mines just turn everyday things into weights like using an empty laudry detergent bottle filled with water rocks ect and other things around you

  • i take three chairs one hand on two feet on third and do pushups so i can go down alittle futher than normal push ups and get a deeper pushup

  • I can't believe how creative these workouts are. They make perfect conditioning exercises for gymnastics. This is better than what I see at my gym, and we do a hell of a lot of conditioning. All I can say is I know you guys will succeed!

  • Anyman that want a dense muscular upperbody needs to work the pull up bar. The key being isometric contractions during the holds and balance of the body weight.

  • You're really awesome dude. Can I ask, how long have you been seriously training for? I'm 17 now, and I really only got into the whole calisthenics movement a month or so ago. I'm a newbie, I suppose. I'm quite skinny, as well... especially for a guy, though that probably doesn't really matter. My goal is to build muscle after all.

  • I was watching the guys at my gym tonight on the bar and they were struggling to do straight pull ups (sets of less then 10) I don't think I have ever seen anyone who is anywhere near as brilliant as you are

  • Damn! Your good. I've been lifting weights & boxing for about 6 years. But, my physique didn't look to hot. But started doing calisthenics about a year ago with weights and boxing. Only basic exercises like - pull-ups, dips, press-ups (close and wide). Now ive become much more athletic and bigger. I struggle to with pull-ups and i dont think i could ever do handstand presses. Them moves are insane! I realise now to get in awesome shape you need to do more then just lift weights.
