it broke in the middle of the 2006 season and they removed it for the 2007 season. It was located parallel to the highway and it was the first ride (along with skyscraper) you saw as you approached the park. it was the best ride they had there along with dominator/batman

@lolzxmyxlife12 Well it was there in 2006, but had a major break down in the summer and closed the rest of the season. This, X-Flight and other rides were removed after 2006 because it cost too much money to operate them, and it didn't need them because of attendance. It then moved to Dorney Park as Possessed, and X-Flight moved to Kings Island as Firehawk.

@Cinestrio And it really makes me wonder how much of it was a "major" break down? As opposed to an minor error that wasn't going to be fixed due to Cedar Fair's pre-planned park closing and knowing it would be Steel Venom's last season. The entire situation breaks my heart. The Cleveland area loses yet again...

wow this video reminds me of how the park used to look and be alive especially in this corner of the park. I loved how they placed Superman/steel venom under Head Spin/Mind Eraser....I thought that was cool...and look at X-Flight back there....wow what great memories i used to have there....all gone!

Also there wasn't a little girl's leg cut off by this ride...where did u get that from? lol...I am 6'2" and my legs don't come close to the supports let alone a little girl's leg.

if you want to ride steel venom go to shakopee Valeeyfair in m,innesota they have it there too but it is yelllow and blue instead
