Excelente guitarrista, apesar de não ser Page, o estilo também combina perfeitamente com o vocal. O baixo bem marcado em um tempo de blues básico também suscita outras comparações com o som do Zeppelin.
Does anybody know about the great guitarist John Ellison who played with Robert Plant, possibly in this band? He used to do a comedy A' tishoo! over Johns comb over before they headed on stage.
Don't forget Lyndon Laney the bass player of the Band of Joy and Lyndon Laney: Founder and CEO of Laney Amplifiers. Robert Plant only uses Laney Amplifiers.
Mick Strode was the very last guitarist in the Band of Joy in 1968, prior to Robert and Bonzo joining Led Zep. He now lives in France and still plays a mean blues guitar.
kevyn gammond, the guitarist..he was also in plant's band 'Priory of Brion" (name obtusely references a french secret society) and i believe they toured about 5 years back...
thanks for sharing these rare songs. It's amazing to see how much Robert's voice has changed over the past.......gasp........43 years. God Bless you, Robert. And also congrats on your BIG win at the Grammys on Sunday. O:-)
Kevyn Gammond on guitar is described by Robert as a "lifetime member of the Band of Joy". In the early 1970s Kevyn played in a band called Bronco with Robbie Blunt. More recently he has held a senior position in music education at Kidderminster College.

Thanks, I love learning bits of information like this. I think I'll look into getting a Laney Amplifier. Who is the bass player on this song?
