  • anyone know if there as been any remakes for pc of Sorcery love love to have one

  • Does anyone know where you can get a emulator for this game on a PC? Thanks

  • @andrewc41 : type winape on google and you can download the best emulator ! type planetemu for all the games you want ! Have fun ;)

  • @Axelino Thanks a lot, works great :)

  • omg Sorcery! I loved this game! right up there with Crystalis

  • tür auf - tür zu

  • This was my first ever game and for a long time it was my favourite. I was so proud of finishing it, although its propensity to spawn you through doorways to a point just above the water was ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING. Thanks God game design has (generally) ruled that kind of decision a bad thing.

  • un jeu légendaire : ) ^^

  • oh my god! this takes me back...

  • sorcery+ includes sorcery and additional chapter where you can kill the evil necromancien who kidnapped the sorcererers at beginning of game.Veery good part too

  • great graphics from 1985!

  • Thank you for posting, brings back great memories. The only computer game I ever completed! This is a slightly different version (Amsoft copyright as opposed to Virgin and the 500 graphics were not on mine either). Many thanks!

  • This was the first game I ever bought (or that my Dad bought) and was the first game I ever completed.

It's hard, though, when all you have to do is blink as you exit a door and drown. I'm just glad game design has progressed from this, although it was great at the time (and a lovely ending.)

  • I managed to complete Qabbalah - You had to collect objects which weren't visible then go to the centre of the pyramid to go level up. First 3 things to find were the Pink key, the red key and the snorkel (means you can go inside houses and under water) Each level had 3-4 things to find before you could level up. Wierd game though!

  • qabbalah was furkin mentally hard

    but i was about 6 or 7

  • i loved this game,

  • I never worked out what the practice mode was, which was promised when you died in the second part of the game. Can anyone enlighten me??

  • Hmm, wow! This brings back memories! ^_^

  • thanks for this, did you ever play a game on the CPC called "Quabblar"? I could never work it out

  • You mean Qabbalah? Yes, i've played that game years ago but i didn't never understand how it worked...

  • OMG! I used to have the Qabbalah game on our old Amstrad. It made no sense whatsoever. I'm glad it wasn't just me...!

  • @shinobiung @Axelino think this is what you're lookin for !

    youtube link v=k7FCiVgoYqw

  • @fergalcoulter Yes, that is .. Thx ^^

  • @fergalcoulter as you can see he couldnt work it out either. still, such a cute game

  • this game kicks ass. i loved to play it when i was 12 - until my amstrad cpc 6128 went to cyberheaven...

but can you tell me: is sorcery+ a sequel? exists a first part of this awesome game?

  • yep, his name is "sorcery" but it is almost the same game without the second world, you can find a video on my channel ;)

  • I used to play this game when it was new, and I was about 8. Doesn't look too bad even now.

  • Was this the one that you had to program yourself? If it is, I can remember it took my parents at least one day to program it.

    Excellent game!

  • good post, loved this game!!

  • incredible game!loved it so much!

  • what is this "plus"?

  • omg i LOVED THIS GAME! it was soo far ahead of the other games on the CPC at the time. I was soo addicted I completed the entire thing the day I got it, literally spent hours and hours straight and loved every second of it.

  • The nostalgia is overwhelming.

  • THANKS SO MUCH 4 POSTING THAT!

  • I played it for the last time some 15 years ago, after the FDD of my 6128 decided to break down. It was mesmerizing, even though I couldn't quite figure out how to play it (I was 7 at the time, and english was still not understandable for me) and all we had was Green Chromatic Screen. Thanks for the vid, I'm considering downloading an emulator just to try this game out. 5/5

  • I haven't seen this for about 20 years! I used to play it with my Dad all the time! Never finished it as quickly as this, mind.

  • this is the game i always rememberd the most the last 20 years or so. I was like 9 years old and now i am 28 and sometimes i rememberd this game whith the nice noise if you go trough doors :) i thought the name is ghosts or whatever, now i found it. This game and Bruce Lee was awesome on the 6128, greets from germany

  • Very very nice game I loved to play more than 20 years ago... If my memory is still ok, I remember that to be able to finish the 2nd world, you need to handle a crown that turned into a heart when you've finished the first world, otherwise, you missed a crown to kill the necromancian...

  • I meant "you missed a heart to kill the necromancian". Sorry !

  • Really? I didn't knew ...

But dude in the second world there are 4 hearts, i found them and i've completed the game destroing Necromancer !

Just search on youtube sorcery plus longplay

  • Yep, I remember that you needed 5 hearts and there're only 4 in the 2nd world. You must handle a crown that will turn into a heart when passing from the 1st to the 2nd world. I've tried a long time ago with another object and was not able to finish Sorcery+ in that case.

  • Forgot to answer sorry..

Man you wrong or remember bad, your choice...

Check part 2 and 3 of sorcery plus and you'll see ;)

  • Mmmm Or maybe the 1st time I forgot an object ?

  • Maybe, the 4th golden heart is very hard to find (you need to drop a roland statue in the river), by the way i've played sorcery+ again and yes, you right when you write that a crown becomes a golden heart passing from 1th to 2nd world so you don't need to find the last one to defeat necromancer, but you need 4 hearts not 5 ;)

  • Ah ok, my memory isn't as fine as it was 20 years ago ;)

  • Woooosh! This is awesome. I played this on a green Screen over 15 years ago. boy, with multicolours, this game ist even better!

  • This was a fantastic game ! Well done and thanks for putting this in a video. This brings back lots of memories... :-)

  • awesome stuff dude
