@triplettam Then you must go treasure hunting. Quoting from the insert of one of their CDs, "They recorded three albums for Island." They were: Vinegar Joe, Rock'n' Roll Gypsies, and Six Star General. Which one are you without?
@crazytogab After I saved a few of their songs, I went to Wiki to check out some things and I found out there were 3 albums. I have the first 2. So, I need to find the 3rd. I had a collector tell me a while after these came out that they might be worth money later on because Robert Palmer was becoming big and Elkie Brooks was expected to be big. Well, I never heard of Elkie after that, so figured she disappeared. But the Wiki article said she's released 20 albums and is big in UK. Who knew?
very cool man. we were very fortunate to pick up this lp, I don't know somewhere around 72 or 3. my buddy had a crown amp and 4 bose 901's. we'd play the shit outta this album. hey bruce in farmington hills, if you're out there - I love ya brother.
Have both of their albums. In storage. Thanks for posting this.

@triplettam It's news to me that Elkie Brooks has that many albums; not exactly surprising, however. Thanks for sharing. Good luck with the hunt.

Are you from Michigan? I was born and raised there.
I hope Bruce contacts you.
I was very fortunate myself to acquire a very fine copy of this album at Bananas (local store) not so long ago.
