  • Him and Ronnie are my fav and not becuse their structure but because their willpower.

  • Dorian's range of motion is fantastic, never seen a pro use this kind of rom!- impressive

  • Dorian is the best! Fantastic form! this guy rocks! My hero

  • I want that pullover machine from the blood and guts he has. It must be perfect. Feel it from the top to the end. Whole range of motion for lats...lovely. And no biceps. Perfect isolate machine.

  • @horak13 We have one at my gym. I consider it the most effective mass builder for the lats. I would be lost without it.

  • @steriods4champions You spelled grammar wrong dip shit. It's comforting to know that there will be idiots like you to serve me red mill burgers on my cheat days. You can take creative and shove it up your ass, fag. Grow up little boy. I done responding.

  • @8988228 "i done responding"? so much for your grammar theory fatass

  • @steriods4champions My bad... fuck yourself bitch.

  • he has on some nice jordans has good taste like me,all juice heads were expensive shoes

  • nice song :)

  • 23 people cant do the last reps....

  • First go watch Bigger, Faster, Stronger, than some DVDs with these guys, then sacrifice every free time into this for about 6 years, (meals, no alcohol, hard training) then talk shit about steroids, idiots.

  • @Ravenstalk You are completely right, even with steroids, it is impossible to achieve what bodybuilders do without firm dedication, people that talk shit on bodybuilders are the same ones that only go to a gym 3 times a week because they have "better" things to do, and then wonder why my 5'6" ass is leg pressing over 1000 pounds. They say "IT MUST BE ROIDS!!!" No jackasses it's because I workout 2 hours a day 5 days a week and I eat constantly!

  • Nice clip. Though, I rather hear the screaming of the athlete and sounds of the iron and machines. Get the music off please. Leave it natural.

  • He should've been cast as Bane in the new Batman.

  • @MrRajguitar yep

  • @JCamacho123 There is no colored version, done in black and white on purpose

  • @ZachRduo i see.. i thought there was colored or not.

    thanks

  • dorian got the jordan Vlll's on?swagggg

  • love that song. Go Machine Heads and mr. Yates!!!

  • @revengered1 shitty song- anyone can turn up the distortion and strum a guitar, gimme vanhalen or satriani any-day- besides Yates was armless lol how he won that many o's is anyones guess.

  • love that song. GO Mashineheads and mr. Yates :)

  • 3:29 60 lbs for side raises ! guys a legend

  • Jimmy different exercises and reps DO define your muscles more and shape them better. Theirs a reason for drop sets , and high rep training . Bodyfat levels shed the exess fat tissue. Hell you could shed all the fat and it doesnt mean itll shape it or make it more defined it WILL make it more easily visible though. Theirs a reason for isolation high rep movements obviously youv never trained for a show or know to much about isolation and defining muscles.

  • @sebaco2011 you cant define ur muscles from a lift.. u lose BW to see ur muscles..which is defining them.. if i guy thats fat and lifts with high reps vs a fat guy that does low reps... ur not gonna define shit either way! u gotta be able to see the muscle.

  • @dgarver1992 Thats why I talked about bodyfat levels and excess fat tissue did you not read that part? Oh okay your totally right man you cant define your muscles at all I mean your clearly more informative with your information and you should probably go tell all the top notch bodybuilders when their doing isolation movements and training in the 15 rep range for definition / isolation that their wasting their time, you especially should tell this to Lee Haney, he was known for his definition

  • Hercules , 240 lbs was easly obtainable by the pros in the 90's... and 80s... He didnt just get up to 240 he got up to 300 and would diet to a shredded 250 its on his website.. And Lee Priest was under 5 10 and would bulk up to 250 and was during this era also . So im a little confused at your post since its pretty much all wrong :P , Ronnie learned from the people older then Dorian not saying it didnt inspire him but he admired Lee haney more

  • This is GAR

  • Hoding peak contraction, slowing down the negative section... Beautiful style! 3:48 and 3:22 so epic!!

  • he is one ugly MOFO

  • the ultimate pep dance

  • I just turned 30 and remember dorian being on all the magazines when i was a kid. Hes cool.

  • steroids are the best

  • roids

  • imo the best its lee haney

  • beast! Watching this makes me want to go back to the gym and do another killer traning session for the second time today.

  • The King

  • roids

  • i just watched "A week in the Dungeon" where Dugdale is taught by Dorian Yates. I just have to say that Yates is my new idol. The guy is a panzer and full of knowledge.

  • He was massive compared to how he looks now.

He still looks in good shape, and has got good abs

  • the best bodybuilding dvd ever made and i had the pleasure of training with him at his temple gym and he still looks awesome in person and to all the haters none of todays crop come anywhere near him.

  • old school...

  • To all those who dislike this vid...u don't know what real training is....

  • Before Dorian Yates, we never saw muscle exceeding 240lbs on a frame under 5"10. Like him or not, he came into the scene and took bodybuilding into the next generation. He made improvements EVERY time he appeared on stage and not every 5 years. He created the physique that launched the Ronnie Coleman's, Markus Ruhl's and Jay Cutlers of the world that are now breaking the 300 pound barrier and under 6 foot tall! This man started the movement and the rest followed suit. Give the man some credit.

  • @HerculesTAK in other words, he brought HGH onto the scene...and with it the huge stomachs

  • @ukatam Coleman stomachs,thighs,calves,butts,chests look like crap.

  • @ukatam

Wrong, that was Lee Haney (check his huge head), but Dorian brought us insulin

  • @HerculesTAK

actually vic richards was bigger then em all and he started it in late 80's early 90's, but didnt have what it took to compete

  • @HerculesTAK Yes I Agree.. You are obviously one of the few that probably understands, follows, and/or lives the lifestyle.. All these haters with the steroid bashing crap weigh 100lbs, havent done more t han pushup or pullups at home and find it easier to just hate when they see someone who is dedicated whether juice or not, you have to know and live it before you understand how it works.. Yea, your one of us who get it, your in the .01% of people haha.....

  • @HerculesTAK Its all about passion, being able to and loving the pain of working out and knowing your progressing, and pushing yourself.. Its a lifestyle you have to understand.. DORIAN was a game-changing bodybuilder, just like you said, he brought the freaky mass and it was unbelievable!! He paved the way for bodybuilders today!! I would love to work out with that man for 1 week, listen to stories and just soak up everything he has to say about all of it.. I would let him stay at my home haha

  • mave.foorumi.eu

  • nobody can tell this man how to train, look at his body, look at what he achieved. obviously he was doing it right to be the greatest body builder of all time.

  • @WhiteMaori23 i think you're forgettin ronnie coleman with your last statement ;p

  • dudes a beast

  • what a bodybuilder, old school

  • best mr. o ever

  • For all the idiots who have replied to my comment about full range of motion being essential, here is a quote from Charles Glass the top trainer in the world from the April 2010 issue of Muscular Development:"Another issue I had watching Mike training clinets was that he often had them going extremely heavy on movements like squats, but not even going halfway down. I have always believed that full range of motion is the best route to train a muscle effetively."

  • @sakecity7 go look at branch warren and compare dorians form and technique to his then you will feel like an idiot.

  • @swipe124 Man his technique is shit house! Throwing the shit around like no business...He'd make litt;e gains without the helping hand!

  • @sakecity7 the real question is, who do you listen to, the one DAYS SAYS how it should be done but hes body its not that impresive, or the one that its not telilng you anything but you can see what hes doing and hes a monster?

    xD just saying..

i have the same question so, i do 2 control sets full range of motion, and 2 crazy heavy sets not full range of motion.. xD

do you liked my solution hahahaha?

  • @sakecity7 (1 of 2) Re-read your own post. Charles Glass said, "....I have always believed that full range of motion is the best route to train a muscle effectively". Charles claimed it was what HE believed to be correct. Doesn't mean it is the steadfast rule. I will always teach clients to use full ROM, but I also like to incorporate all types of methods in my own workouts, to experiment and see what works for me. We are all different, and all respond differently.

  • @sakecity7 (2 of 2) IMHO Dorian is the most incredible bodybuilder ever, but it doesn't mean everything he advocates is gonna work for me, just like all that Charles Glass says should be listened to, analysed, and tried. Yates has gone on record to say that in his entire professional bodybuilding career he never did one solitary squat. It gave him hip problems, and affected the aesthetics of his hip/waist. Does that mean he tells people not to squat? No. Bottom line: Limited ROM did him no harm!

  • @berlinmackem true, but again you are just another person very late to the conversation. my original comment, if you go alllll the way back, was in response to someone else who said that dorian was using perfect form in this video to which I responded that obviously he is not using perfect form because perfect form means using full range of motion. if you are going to demonstrate an exercise to a novice you would obviously want to demonstrate the correct way to do it and you would use full range

  • @sakecity7 Hi - and apologies if I didn't go far back enough to see where you started with this (I hate people that do that.....). Having watched the video again, I'd be interested as to which exercises you think Dorian isn't using full ROM. I could agree on the final few seconds, on the triceps pushdowns, but other than that, I don't see where he's not using full range, assuming you acknowledge that he is performing mid-shin deadlifts at one point, and not full or Romanian deadlifts.

  • @berlinmackem the side lateral raises and the shrugs. also he is swinging too much on the dumbell curls and barbell curls. and again for everyone reading this, Im not saying Dorian didnt know what he was doing or the exercises were not effective for him I'm just responding to someone else who said his form was perfect because it isnt.

  • @sakecity7 most body builders do it with some swinging motion lol

  • @steroidsR4losers

please don't talk about something you know nothing about.

it's not easy to get big muscles not even while taking steroids

    it's not easy to reach a Bf < 3%

I'm not saying you should take steroids

I'm also natural and encourage it.

  • @mathiolos Good point mate, I'm also natural, and I have done a lot of research on steroids to educate myself on the subject. But, dont bother making points with "steroidsR4losers", this person just trolls almost ALL of the hardcore bodybuilding vids on here, and I mean almost ALL OF THEM! Haha.

  • @deadmilkman33 Y i've noticed =/ he spammed the shit out of me for posting this xD

  • Dorian and arnold had the best shape symmetrical bodies!!

  • @mirofo86 Yes Arnold is Godlike...genetics plus

  • @bulleuston76 he has the best natural looking body without lame vains..

  • Really confused - multiple videos where Mr. Yates is not using the Mike Mentzer workout (holding weight in max resistance position for up to 15 seconds before lowering weight).

  • please forget about the 6-8 reps for mass and 10-12 for definition!thats bollox,as if your muscle has a switch that makes it say "oh this guy has gone past 10 reps, quick ,change to definition mode"a lot of people talk about this but it really is nonsense!think about it logically instead of reading somthing somewhere and repeating it!

  • @bigdannyg23 haha your funny.

  • @afterthefact15 -funny as in you agree or disagree,or just funny in general!

  • @bigdannyg23 Well i disagree cuz thats like saying running long distance isn't different than do sprints. The analogy isn't very fitting but i had to try and find one that was more workout like. If what your saying is true about the difference between 6-8 reps and 10-12 then why wouldn't everybody just do one rep? It does make a difference and that can be seen through trial and error over 100 years of bodybuilding.

  • @afterthefact15 -well i tend to agree with your point,i was more aiming at the overused principle that you can somehow tone a muscle but unfortunately i perhaps didn't make my point clear as i was in "rant" mode!!my point really is that a muscle can only do 3 things-a) get bigger b) remain the same or c) decrease in size.the notion that you can tone a muscle is nonsense,so with x reps you can tone or maintain a BODY but not a muscle! hope that makes me not funny! ha ha

  • Check my Acount

    17yo HUGE BODYBUILDER

    !!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you think dorian yates is not the best ALL TIME bodybuilder ever you are mentally retarded

  • @ismaelcrx

why, cos we all have different opinions....

i could find 2 people for ron coleman for every person that thinks yates is the best

  • @aidzz69 who the hell says ur opinion matters more than his? are u a bodybuilding judge? cuz im sure they will know who is the best.. cuz they judge them. its their job.

  • @dgarver1992

you don't know shit, those judges are the most corrupt dogs ever, they take kickbacks, sleep with bodybuilders they judge, show up drunk to contests.

And did i say my oinoin mattered more, i said alot of people dont even like what he did to bb turning into mass monsters. So shut the fuck up you dumb shit

  • @aidzz69 yea im sure.. you know everything right? u cant even spell opinion... haha DUMB ASS! and you dont know shit. so basically.. ur piece of shit opinion matters no more than anyone else who leaves one on here about the best all time. so STFU ! and go lift some weights pussy!

  • @dgarver1992

yea bro cos i think u spell opinion oinoin, ever eard of typo u dip shit.

lol just copy what i said and say it to me! ahaha good job bro.

you obvisually don't know shit, what the fuck do you care, i dont even mind him.

so jump of his dick, there are others out there better. god damn closet dorian homo

  • @ismaelcrx

why, cos we all have different opinions....

i could find 2 people for ron coleman for every person that thinks yates is the best

i dont like niether, i like ruhl

  • @ismaelcrx he came over ther & showed you how its done YANK.☺.

  • @ismaelcrx no, its called having an opinion

  • @ismaelcrx

    Yes,he is the best!!

  • @ismaelcrx he's stronger than you

  • @ismaelcrx kevin levrone, shawn ray, ronnie had better shape, kevin and shawn just got judged wrong

  • breathing fail

  • legend

  • Anyone know why he does 6-8 reps? Does it just work for his body?

  • @diderr01 bullshit man

there's no "definition" training... you'll get ur good shape at the kitchen, not in the gym.

  • @LeozinhoPlaybass

    Fast twitch vs slow twitch

  • @LeozinhoPlaybass Absolutely champ, I used to think by doing reps of 20-30 that I'd somehow get highly cut muscle, however allyou get are long stringy tendenous muscles that look shit! Lift heavy and diet right = lean and showy!

  • @diderr01 there are no reps for definition or mass, it's all about diet and cardio

  • @diderr01 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH Laugh how you think reps have anything to do with definition! definition is all about body fat levels. go read up on physiology and anatomy!!!!

  • @JimmyTheMinute it actually is important...if you want to bring up striations in your muscles you need to do more reps and less sets

  • @lolo932 hahahhah wow, who told you that? that is 100 percent false, only way youl see striations and definition is by losing bodyfat and getting into crazy low bodyfat levels, and there is no way to shape a muscle, you can only build muscle mass...period.

  • @whosnexttt personal trainers and people around me told me that...look at the pictures of arnold and lee haney they have deep striations even though they didn't have that low body fat as the pros have today...it's all because they're way of training...and you actually can shape a muscle...watch the training videos and guys like shawn ray always say that machines are SHAPING the muscle and bring up deep striations, so please stfu

oh yes I forgot that you have been a mr O competitor for 14 years

  • @lolo932 its not because of the training, its because of the drug use, different drugs are used nowa days at different dosages......you believe that you can shape a muscle during training? haha damn, your one gullible fella!

  • @lolo932 Personal trainers is gays

  • @tyrepikke No, personal trainer is GAR

  • @lolo932 i'm pretty damn sure you don't "shape" your muscles bro. All you can do is build them up. Your God given genetics determines shape.

  • @rascalMatt17 I would like to call a bodybuilding legend like flex or shawn and ask them about it....I heard about it from a personal trainer that has won multiple amateur shows all natural so if he doesn't know what he is talking then who does?

  • @lolo932 People who study anatomy and physiology in the medical field. ex. i'd imagine an orthopedic surgeon or an endochronologist would have a pretty good idea. Hard to really say for certain though. People who work out are just going off of a hunch based on the way they feel they respond to their training. I prefer a more scientific approach.

  • @lolo932 um, maybe he was low fat but didn't seem it due to different distribution? If there are ways to shape muscle please link to tutorial for striations plz? Are there muscles tha lack striation we should ignore?

  • @lolo932 I was about to say with that sweeping statement you have just shown incompetence in anything to do with human physiology. BUt Diderr01 beat me to it! Hats off diderr

  • @diderr01 yeah but I know a lot of people who build mass at 10-12. Look at cutler. Personally I build mass with 6-8 on my chest. I get a lot of size from doing 10-12 with back and shoulders.

  • @JaKeth3snake I think you can only compare a specific training regime whenoneis on the same playing field as the other. ie if you're not on steroid's you can't compare reps for mass gain against a non-user. If you're on that playing field well different story.

  • @bulleuston76 What if I am on that playing field?

  • @JaKeth3snake Not interested mate, I make satisfying gains all the while keeping my kidneys and brain in tip top shape! Thanks anyway for sharing though

  • @JaKeth3snake

normally 6-10 is the best range of reps for mass gaining.

remember ur muscles need reasons to grow, so... if ur doing many reps, try to get an higher weight and make less reps, but keeping always the good form.

  • is it just me or is he using two different DB´s when doing the dumbell flys?

  • i love all these correct form experts....especially all the ones with no vids uploaded!!!but hopefully we will see some of these "expert" vids very soon, perhaps dorian will watch and learn a thing or two!ha ha! i cringe when i hear "i am a bodybuilder so i know etc etc"-prove it,show me the trophies or the placings otherwise keep your negative comments about a 6x mr.o and his form to your shit forums where loads of know it alls baffle on about half rep this and all the other minor bullshit !

  • my favorite vid for training motivation!!!

  • Everytime Dorian locks out his knees I cringe a little bit.... His knees must be screwed nowdays :(

  • those 18 dislikes must be from steroids are 4 losers logging on to his different accounts and hitting the thumbs down button 18 times. fuck that lowlife loser

  • @xnfxdnfxn No doubt

  • He used a preacher arm curl machine before doing barbell curls and he said that its ok to cheat a little on the barbell part

  • beside kay green for me the most inspiring example of dedication, freedom, intelligence.

  • i thought its bad for your knees when u lock out your legs with the leg press

    (sorry for english:P)

  • song ?

  • song ?

  • Respect for him like all pro's but 97 Mr.O was not his night !.

  • TnT is right on some of those. Just goes to show that all it takes is hard work, dedication, genes, and steroids, and anybody can be mr. olympia.

Just make sure your training all muscles with bad form and you'll still end up symetrical!

  • @shibby211 ha ha ha ha ha

  • @shibby211 u must not really lift weights

  • @shibby211 u must not really lift weights

  • HIT <3

  • You can nearly feel the power of this man, when watching this

  • @sakecity7

you must be a rookie so i'll drop a little knowledge on you. his laterals were forced reps, a proven way to further destroy your muscles. his bb rows were to his waist, which will hit lower on the lats. curls? not sure what u saw wrong w/ them. shrugs were the only one that could possibly be considered not full range of motion, but hard to tell w/ traps as huge as his. out of 15+ lifts shown, 1 that could be considered not full range. 6 time Mr. O, he must not know a thing about BB.

  • freaking love this song and dorian is bad ass as usual.

  • Why listen to anti-steroid spammers and mistakes of god like steroidsR4? Check steroidTRUTH channel for the honest TRUTH about the positive effects of anabolic steroids.

Always ThumbsDown and hit "Spam" on all SteroidsR4/AreFor and her girlsfriends posts.

  • i think the only other bodybuilder who comes close to dorian is markus ruhl.its a shame dorian got injured.zac khan looked pretty fucked when dorian trained him too lol.
