  • R.I.P. pac!

  • rihanna i wanna cum on them titties

  • I think you could have chose a little better songs in the 200's area...

  • Copyright date =/= release date.

Not a bad list though, more 80s would've been great if you're representing all 3 decades.

  • mmm michael jacksonnn

  • too much beyond, not enough 90s and 80s

  • Aww Michael Jackson, Kurt Kobain,2Pac, and sorry but I forgot the guy from Sublime's name RIP guys :(

  • I wish we could drop the final "d" and replace it with a "ce". That's who I only care for this decade.

  • good but focuses too much on 'beyond' not enough on 80's and 90's

  • I agree you shouldn't have played nothing beyond 2002! I would've just kept it 80's and 90's when music was good!

  • I don't like the "Beyond" portion of this video.

  • We need to exile 50 Cent, Eminem, TPain, Akon, Soulja Boy, Lil' Wayne, FLOrida and the like to Mars.

  • Why you happy to be born in the '90s. You guys probably only remember '98 and up. Being born in the '80s is the best cuz we grew up in the '90s and remember all of this while it was going on. Miss the '90s.

  • true-er words have not been spoken

  • exactly

  • how can artists of today be so shit when they grew up listenin to such great music in the 80's

    70's 80's

    fuck the 90's and on.

  • goood video

  • 90s rulez

  • I'm so proud to have been born in the 1990's.

    Well, 1993 to be exact.

It produced so many wonderful songs that are much better than some of the rubbish these days.

  • I gotta agree i was born in 91 and the ammount of times iv turned around and wanted the music to go back to the 90's i mean the charts actully had music you could listen to also there is a few good songs out now but i mean rap and fukin hip-hop is the biggest pile a shit eva i much preferd the 90's skater rock and good pop :)

  • I agrre with you, Mostly i miss the pop from 90's ..

i was born in 92 and i can still remember some of the songs in my head . it was a great time ;)

  • 94 baby

punk, ska...that is where it all happened

  • @ElloElloThere101 I was born in 1993 too.:)

  • u can see al the transition... when u get till 200 sum lik ethat .. all this music became shit!!! long live 80´s and 90´s.... fuck this ages!!!

  • A few corrections:

    Beat it - 1983

    Push it - 1988

    Mmm-Bop - 1997

    Drive - 2001

    In the End - 2001

Copyright date, album release date and single release date are all different things...

But it's nice, really various in music.

  • im damn sure you hade to look that up, so that means you have too much time on your hands :)

  • I don't like any of the songs past 1998 other than S.O.S. and Goldigger.

  • ditto

    just kept going downhill

  • 2Pac "changes" took his background piano from Brue Hornsby "The way it is". What an asshole! I bet Bruce didn't see any credit from that either!

  • its called sampling music and i bet some of the artist you like have done the same so shut it

  • Still... A little credit would be nice. And yes a few other songs I enjoy do "Sample" music, however on the CD there is a "special thanks to..." area where you will find credit given.

  • a very large portion of rap uses sampling, and I'm sure credit is given. It should also be noted that the song producer, not the rapper generally deals with the "beat," and also that Tupac was murdered in 1996 and had nothing to do with the production of the song, besides writing and recording the rap.

  • COMPILATION BASED ON WHAT?

  • i didn't like them..!!

  • 90s mm and where is korn? deftones??

    80s where is the cure , the police , toto,the smiths.. ???

  • Where is "Whats Up" by 4NonBlondes which has to be on the top 5 of the 90's.I know Linda Perry calls it funk but it seriously rocks and came in No3 in the USA and No1 Everywhere else for over a month.I am surprised but I would place it in the top 5 easy.

  • Nice!! YES!!

  • Generation X rules!!!! If you were born in 1965-1980, you are most likely going to like music from the from the mid to late 70s, 80s and 90s.

  • born in 1976 and it's true..

  • 1977 over here baby!!!!!

  • Hey. I like music from 1986-1998!!!! I like some songs after 1998, but my heart is for the music in the mid 80s to the late 90s. Real talk. I mean, come on. I'm talking about Janet Jackson's breakthrough with "Control", "Rhythm Nation 1814", and "janet"!!!!! Those were classic albums!!!! I was 9 in 1986, and I remember wanting to look like Janet growing up!!!

  • i was born in 1992 and i like a lot of songs of that period. anyways you're right, that generation did change a lot of things specially on music. wee!!

  • hanson was the garbage that started all the crap!!

  • Great compulation... really shows how good we had it in the 90s, and how bad today's music really is.

  • Naja...

  • music died after hanson hit the scene

  • agree

  • hanson rox!!!

  • WHeres The pop groups backstreet boys, n sync westlife, christina aguilera?

  • shouldv stayed in the 50's era

  • omg it's hanson...

omg it's children of the corn

  • Haha, great comparison!

  • i thought alice in chains were fairly new????

so how long have they been bashing religion?????lmao

  • did anyone else realise that the music got shitter and shitter as the years went along...

  • yup

  • u didn't do any of the cool songs. u fucked up

  • 80s? 90s? where the fuck r the b52s!? nice vid though

  • The B52's did monster mash, and rock lobster (which is sung by Peter on Family Guy too) and another really famous song, which I can't remember hahaha x]

  • Maybe the song most people under twenty know them for, Love Shack?

  • 80 90's generation forever,good job man good compil;-)

  • good work!

  • lol mmm bop

  • "hang the dj" this music really means nothing to me and my friends in our life then and still don't.

  • En-Artist.... check him out, this dude got sum bars just started listenin to him check him out tell me wat u think.. hes pretty good.

  • goodness gracious. make ur own video with the songs u want....dang....

  • 2 pac <3

  • mmmmbop thats the worst song ever

  • hey, how is called the song that leaves at the end of the video?

  • run dmc - tricky

  • The video shows the different genres of music, from different decades. Its alright. Good job.

  • mmbop sux but i love the vid

  • WTF!!! A BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE SONG?? lol thats very random all good songs except the shit new gangsta music

  • the 80's is the best

  • This definetely shows the decline in good music post 2000.

  • This fool has no idea of music in any era. If you were a dog I would put you under the house !!!

  • lOL i agreee

  • the half of songs are crap

  • How dare you put mmmbop in there...shame

  • There is too much "beyond" here, but I was surprised but glad to see Haste the Day featured. Linkin Park's video for "In the End" though was shot in 2001, not 2000.

  • The song choice from Soundgarden isn't even close to their best song. There's also Black Hole Sun, Fell on Black Days, The Day I Tried to Live, and Spoonman, all from Superunknown.

  • It's kinda f*cked up that there was Rihanna with SOS, but not Tainted Love by Soft Cell of which it was stolen. And there was far too much of the "Beyond" stuff.

  • Yeah, I noticed the songs got worse as the years went on. It started good in the 80's

  • Ah... I was young in the 90s, But I remember These songs.... [im 15 1/2 now] But im just saying, Time flies...then you turn older :/ lol. Good memories, Nice job with the 90s, And the 2000s.

  • anyone notice the quality of songs go down as the years progressed?

  • Kinda odd that you passed the 90's without a mention of the Spice Girls and you still had Destiny's Children there o_O Just struck me as odd O_o But still, 4 stars as I think it's awesome that you went through the trouble of picking up these songs and doing this compilation :)

  • omg Hanson

  • salt n peppa's dance is unbeatable man!! its frikkin hilarious!! i tell u what doh, it'll never get old!!

  • ac/dc is just shit

  • WHERE IS THE REAL METAL?

  • wow that was a fun one, I sure am a 80's fan for sure

  • great job....

  • lost me with mm bop

  • where are the typicall 90's bands like The offsprings, Spice girls, Back street boys, britney etc? Everything beyond the 90's didn't make any sence at all....

  • luxen... typical, sense... You get your point across better by being literate and articulate.

  • yes well the point wasn't to show people my spellings skills, was it...

  • wow u2 does some gr8 lipsinking lol

  • U2 doesn't lip sink jackass

  • WOW cockabooboo ur the dumbest kid ever... anyone who has ever recorded a music video in the history of time was lip sinking in that video. u accually thought that they record the audio and video at the same time...wow ur dumb... and saying "jackass" doesnt make u look any better seeing how everything u sed in that sentance was wrong.....jackass

  • U can shove ur "theory" up ur ass cuz even if they were lipsinking to their own music it isnt the same as lipsinking nowadays as in they can't sing for shit.....so fuck u

  • who ever made this knows absolutly nothing about music

  • fort minor was not in 2005?!

  • many of these dates are wrong

  • who can name them all ?
