I support the troops all the way.. and i am dating a soldier and i am Proud 2 be dating him.. he's over in Iraq right now and he doesnt get back for another 9 months.. he was gone for a mission for 4 days and i wasnt able to talk 2 him or anything and i was freaking out the whole time... but i was able to talk to him yesterday and he's safe, i just want this war to be over and all the men and women home and be safe and sound with their family's I salute all of the men and women ..

I love this song. One of a very few that make me cry. Strong emotion. IMO its seems forgotten. because there are other patriotic songs that get more attention. This song is great cause its patriotic in the sense it focuses on the soilders instead of just "yeah America". Lots of brave souls. Scary to know that you could be shot or killed at any time, on the flip side you could easily end someone elses life firing a round.

What it is a program that you sign up for and each month they will send you a list of Military Wives that are about to give birth or who have just given birth and what you do is purchase baby gifts for these soldiers babies. Almost everyone of the women's names on the list are wives who husbands are deployed. So it is another way to show support by giving something to their babies

when my brother was in basic tranning he said some kids never got a letter, their parents didnt care and wanted nothing to do with them, when i went to watch my brother graduate some kids didnt have family there, they where all alone the whole time, i felt really bad for them. i know that if you where to send a letter they would love it. you can go on a websit and find adresses for them.
there are a couple web sites one is this thing called "Troop Care Package" thats one of the better ones. you could just google writing letters to a soldier. they give details their. you want to join?
i sent some letters to some soldiers a few months ago and just recently recieved a few back, one of them wrote 4 whole pages as a reply and i sent him something again, but he said there were a lot of men in his unit who don't get anything, particularly around holidays which totally sucks!
Being the son of a Marine that served in the Operation Desert Storm, I have a great appreciation for our troops. I have also lost friends in this war. Even though I lost a good friend, I still support our troops 100%. May God Bless all of our troops no matter where they may be, but not only our troops but the families of those soldiers as it is just as difficult for the families as it is for the soldier. I hope that they may come home soon safe so that they may spend much needed time at home

it hurt me inside knowing that hey had no one. it made me want to cry. i watched them all walk away and lay in their beds as family's walking around the base. it made me really sad.

compass4me: there is another program that you can do that really shows support to the troops is called "Top Knots". What it is a program that you sign up for and each month they will send you a list of Military Wives that are about to give birth or who have just given birth and what you do is purchase baby gifts for these soldiers babies. Almost everyone of the women's names on the list are wives who husbands are deployed. So it is another way to show support by giving something to their babies

compass4me: search the words "Troop Care Package" and it will take you to a website where you can sign up to write letters and/or send care packages to soldiers. It's a really good program and the soldiers really appreciate it. Hope this helps!

Im surprised this song was not a bigger hit, Its beautiful, I dont know anyone who is over in iraq serving (Thank you to those of you who are) but I cry when this song comes on in my Jeep and I dont care who sees me. I wonder if there are soldiers over there who have no one to write to and I would like to write someone I just have no idea where to get info like that. God Bless Everyone!

when my brother was in basic tranning he said some kids never got a letter, their parents didnt care and wanted nothing to do with them, when i went to watch my brother graduate some kids didnt have family there, they where all alone the whole time, i felt really bad for them. i know that if you where to send a letter they would love it. you can go on a websit and find adresses for them.

i sent some letters to some soldiers a few months ago and just recently recieved a few back, one of them wrote 4 whole pages as a reply and i sent him something again, but he said there were a lot of men in his unit who don't get anything, particularly around holidays which totally sucks!

Being the son of a Marine that served in the Operation Desert Storm, I have a great appreciation for our troops. I have also lost friends in this war. Even though I lost a good friend, I still support our troops 100%. May God Bless all of our troops no matter where they may be, but not only our troops but the families of those soldiers as it is just as difficult for the families as it is for the soldier. I hope that they may come home soon safe so that they may spend much needed time at home

OMG! I cried when I watched this video. This hits me hard because my dad's in the air forces, and my uncle's also a piolate in the forces. I'm praying that neither of them will have to go over there.

i know what ur wife is probably going though my brother and i were really close, we still are but he went to iraq and i thought that i was going to die. he didnt call for about 1 your and i thought that he was dead but i know that u r going back, he is to i dont think i will last when he is gone again i cant take it not talking to him for that long again. well THANK YOU for serving our country!!
