See I heard this via indie podcast in late January then promptly had Boots Met My Face shipped in from Europe. This was my favorite on the album.

@StalePasta Sure, sometimes artists/bands change up their sound to appeal to the "masses," but there are artists/bands that genuinely go through a sort of maturation of sorts which evolves the way they make music. If you know the artist/band well enough, you can usually tell if they're jumping the ship or really heading in a new direction. Thanks for the comment!

I understand the notion of becoming more popular, but as the simple saying goes, "just be yourself." Even if the bands mature and change up their pace a bit, as long as they stay themselves and not jump the shark, I'll support them.

From someone who doesn't care about mass media hype (I don't watch much tv or listen to AM/FM/XM radio; basically under my own rock, and happy.), I usually only see/hear those who are complaining about things being overplayed, which gets annoying in itself. It's like yeah, hipsters are "meh," but so are those who bash and complain about them, and so on... Just let 'em wallow in their mess and move along. Enjoy the music.
