Could somebody please tell me what happens if I forget to keep talking to my subject after I have commanded him to sleep? Because I just tried to do this and I forgot to keep on talking to him and perhaps I might have achieved an instant induction if I had done it correctly. After I told my subject to sleep he closed his eyes and his eyelids began to tremble a bit. Thanks.

I DO teach a class, but in this case the guy who said "stuck tight" at 2:02 was my son and camera man. He was just explaining to the crowd!

I think the effects could be very good to watch.

As far as I know, nobody has done that before.

Interesting idea. I suppose if you knew beforehand that the person was a contortionist, it would work. It the crowd did not know this, it might be pretty bizarre!

In hypnosis, the subject displays a strong desire to please the operator. At some level the subject MAY realize that the situation is not "real", but he/she executes the suggestions all the same.

if the person is under hypnosis the brain is simply under the hynosist's control.

for example sugar pills.

a doctor prescribes a pill saying it cures

head aches! the patient belevieng what ever the doctor says accepts it! low and behold a couple of hours later the persons cured!!

but then again i might be wrong..............but this is awesome shows how powerful the mind can be!!

This video was great. But It's no proof. I've shown dozens of demonstrations like this live to one of my friends and he's still convinced it's a hoax...Shame I can't hypnotize him to prove it's real when he doesn't believe... oh well
