the so called "1988 video footage" with special effects is pretty awfully made. example the audio is in mono but the snap, crackle and pop effects are in wide stereo. video effects are also crap and the image quality is waaaaaaaaay too good. it would be better if they actually used REAL 80's VHS camera and not digital HD camcorder as you can see just by looking at the colors...
