  • Is there a name for what he's saying from 00:27 to 00:40? I do it without thinking, id like to know how I can overcome it.

  • This is the kind of stuff we like to see on facebook on the group HailTheHardy

  • i love how down to earth he seems. not only an incredible actor, but someone for young people to look up to and be inspired by.

  • He Is So Sexy

  • You can tell he's an actor his accent goes from tough ghetto boy to posh boy in an instant....fair play to him though..

  • @74bomayemcfc Patrick Stewart syndrome.

  • Wow he was so small here

  • WTF with his muscles he used to had in warrior!!!!!

  • @Busman44444 This is from 2010 mate. Might wanna read the description.

  • @Aimtofflan oh..... yeah, sory. He was just like me!

  • @Busman44444 with the right lenses and cgi and right light it makes you look alot more jacked that you are

  • @91TopperHarley True to a extent, in Warrior and the Upcoming Batman, he got Big, went from his average 11-11.5 stone to 14-14.5 stone, if you focus on certain groups, and eat right, (i dont know about drugs) its possible to get that big in a short period of time aka 6-12 months.

  • @Busman44444 this video is 2010 before warrior...

  • Wow! I had no idea what his background was. But GODAMN Im happy to see Tom the way he is today. So cheerful and full of life. Especially the video of him rapping with his son. It would have been a terrible shame if we lost him. He is going tonshine bright as Bane!

  • Love how he dressed up for the telly. lol. Actually love him!

  • all those poor people with troubled limes.

  • tom hardy is from the mean streets of east sheen!

  • Not so big when hes not on testosterone enanthate huh ?

  • for someone who is a hollywood superstar, to go on a show like gmtv which is nothing compered to what shows he could be on and have an apperance like that long hair, unshaven and a vest that is awsome could this guy be anymore grounded and awsome fuck he's cool

  • WIll you help me probs wouldnt tho iam 18 n i have alchHolism had enuff of my life its crap only thing thats. Kept me goin is tom xxx

  • Could this guy be more amazing...

  • i love his long hair...freakin sexy as hell and what's even better is the fact he's a genuinely nice guy. a rarity to find in hollywood these days

  • i recently saw warrior and loved tom hardys performance in that movie

  • I fucking love that dude! Anyone who watched the scene in "Warrior" where he comforts his father in the hotel room? Heartbreaking...

  • @FoxyHeartsYou that was a very powerful scene, watched it with tears in my eyes

  • @FoxyHeartsYou My favorite part of the movie, he is an amazing actor

  • @FoxyHeartsYou i just watched warrior tonight, and that scene i swear i cried soooo much. really is heartbreaking. amazing film.

  • @FoxyHeartsYou

Yeh, that was one of the more powerful scenes in any movie.

  • BRONSON!

  • he is amazing

  • the tattoos and the shabby hoody and hair....

and that for a man with such a classy voice and face.

  • did that kid seem abit brain washed to any1?

  • Fuck he looks so sexy with long hair and facial hair.

  • "step on my own grand mother for a bottle of beer - that's just the way it is"

He went to the drama school of hard knocks. Embarrasing.

  • You can tell he previously had a drug addiction, he constantly look's paranoid, uncomfortable, insecure and turns his head down at every compliment he receives...especially on his Jonathan Ross interview. But admittedly a fucking brilliant actor and can fully understand why he is chosen for roles such as Bronson & Freddie (The Take)

  • he looks sooo yummy, especially at 5.08 .....to hot!!

  • @eneri518 He's an ugly bastard

  • @TheKenfig are we looking at the same guy?? 'cause this one is one is no way, shape, or form anywhere near ugly.....far from it.......but to each his own, i guess.

  • As if I could love the man any more than I already do...(sigh) he is perfection! LOVING the ponytail by the way, probably the only guy I can think of that can pull it off so sexy

  • He is very hot

  • @cocteaua Lots of people say anyone is 'hot' after they've been in a film

  • this hardy thers somethin not right about him very shady

  • gorilla are docile creatures that only attack when they or their families are threatened....

  • fuck me

  • ohhh tommy tommy tommy, way too lush in this interview, not camera shy at all....!

  • I practically rape the scroll button every time I watch this just so I can see the shy bashful look he gives at 5:08.

  • It's unfair that God made a man this beautiful and did not cross our paths.

  • Seems like a great guy, but at the same time he scares the living shit out of me.

  • Man he is SO awesome! XOXO

  • Was he really that much of a crazy man? Seems like a bit of a luvvy to me.

  • TOM HARDY IS A STAR, HES SO COOL N LUVING , SO GOT TO MEET HIM, MR TO HARDY U R SO COOL, U R THE MAN BABY, U SO GOT IT, U HAVE THE GIFT BABY :)

  • tom hardy looks like k fed on the gmtv couch haaha

  • this video alone is proof he's gonna kick ass as Bane.

  • he's from a middle class area in south london, and because in england the 'ghettos' are very close to nice areas unlike in the US where its away from it all together, it's easy to walk into another street and see a whole other world. people tend to talk in Jamaican Patois in ghetto areas of london. I myself find me slipping into this accent because i am from a black council estate in north west london even though I am a cockney naturally lol

  • love you tom hardy. always engaging, and complex.. one hot mess!!!

    compelling as heathcliff

  • Tom Hardy is too cute, I adore him, there's something about him that just draws you in, such an amazing actor too. x

  • OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! He is best man on all planet ! Plzz i wissshhhh to have someone near his look and ooooh he s soo damn sexyy ! I adore you Tommy ! I love youUUUU!

  • bring back GMTV damn it!

  • Tom Hardy looks like a real gangster.

  • good actor, but hate the forced (street) accent. clearly comes from an upper middle class background...

  • that look at 5:06 is so cute

  • there are too many reasons to love Tom Hardy~i lost count about 3 years ago! beautiful man in so many ways!

  • BANE BANE BANE BANE

  • tom hardy comes from the poshest / priviliged background......is it me, or at the beginning is he trying to sound urban?

  • If you only know him from Inception, man.. U should see RocknRolla.. Or Bronson..(pfff what a piece of work man damn) Or what about Martina Cole's The Take..You'll see intesity like no one ever showed you before.. Believe me.. He's gonna be such a monster star after The Dark Knight Rises.. Again.. Go Tom, Go. Have no love for haters man..!!

  • finally a REAL motherfucker in the theatres.. Somebody snipe that de Niro.. Saw him on Letterman? What a joke man...!! GO TOM GO

  • I couldn't watch this without thinking ''this is the guy who is going to be kicking the crap out of Batman."

  • im inlove with tom hardy nuff said

  • @dramaobsesseddiva Me too in a heterosexual way..lmfao

  • 5:06 - 5:10.....dear god he's so cute!

  • @DancesTheRobot awww that look was so adorable!

  • I went to college with him and he spoke like a proper rudeboy back then. A lot of kids did although we were all very middle class really. It was an expensive private college - you had to come from parents with a bit of cash even if everyone there had been expelled or rejected from all the other schools. Most lose that accent but I guess if u dont get an office job u r never actually forced to assimilate which is probobly true in Tom's case.

  • Hes going to get back on drugs.... VENOM!!

  • when did he make these tatoos? wouldn't it hurt his film career?

  • @CIarKent He got his first tattoo when he was 15, and has even gotten several more since this interview took place. He has said that he charts where he's been and where he's going with them and he says new tattoos indicate that he's working through something in his head. He's also said that make-up artists groan when they see them and have to cover them but there are several movies he's done where he has kept them.

  • @CIarKent I don't think it would because he's that AWESOME

"You musnt be afraid to dream alittle bigger darling."-Tom Hardy as Eames in "Inception"

  • I'd still do him. Even with that ridicilous pink shirt he's wearing X)

  • Listen to how he used to speak here - Tom Hardy "Gideon's Daughter" Interview

Either way, he's the sexiest man alive...

  • It's quite bizarre how he decides to 'play' at being a working class bloke while in front of the kids. He's throughly middle class...

  • @simmie69 Have you seen his interview with Jonathon Ross? He talks about how he picks up accents all the time. I think it's his thing: he talks like the people around him. Like a chameleon. That's my theory, anyway.

  • @hjulia76 It's called echolalia. I have it too.

  • @hjulia76 Yeah, that interview was pretty strange. His accent chopped and changed throughout.

Like a lot of different people rolled up into one. Amazing actor!

  • @hjulia76 interesting fact. I have studied dialects and the mind will actually assimilate or what ever the word is, different sounds tones and dialects when it is spoken around you. I do it as well and it's really helpfull as an actor so that when you do it the people who natural speak with an accent can correct you. It's really quite interesting

  • @hjulia76 erm... no. He can control how he talks. If you pick up how people talk that's one thing, but if you're an actor... especially if you're an actor, you know what accent you're putting on. He talks weird because that gets attention. That's my theory. He's a great actor though, and I'm looking forward to the new Batman film.

  • @simmie69 He's never claimed that he was from a working class family. He actually says he's from a posh part of South London in Ross's interview. The important thing is that he really WAS an alcoholic and he's experienced enough to help these kids, wealthy or not. I think he just speaks differently in front of different people. Everyone does that. He's even admitted that he does that.

This guy deserves a lot of credit for sobering up and helping others. And for being an outstanding actor.

  • @EvelynFlax He's from hammersmith, its a bit inbetween posh and working class.

  • @simmie69 he isnt playing a working class guy. CLEARLY hes a rich actor and everyone knows it. That being said, it doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, everybody has their own issues. his was alcoholism & drug abuse. he was clearly just trying to relate to the kids, cause clearly hes been through shit himself soo, im pretty sure you cant classify him as some cocky, rich man trying to lecture kids. Yeah, so MAYBE, you shouldn't be so quick to judge, because it's not like actually know him .

  • @simmie69 Well spotted! I don't know whether he is trying to cultivate an 'image' of being working class. Whether he is embarrassed by his middle class public school roots? But it is bizarre. I assume he had a lot of help and support from well off parents along the way. As these seemingly rags to riches stories so often reveal with a bit of research, the background of many successful people is often privileged from birth.

  • @simmie69 I have discovered to my disappointment that many successful actors' parents were/are well connected within the entertainment industry or formerly actors themselves. From Marlon Brando (mother was actress) to Robert Downey Jr (father was a director) even to TV presenters like George Lamb or singers such as Lilly Allen who both have father's who are actors respectively.I am yet to find someone who truthfully had nothing, came from a working class background and made it for themselves...

  • @Witchmeal

Martin Sheen, Anthony Hopkins and Di Caprio come to mind

  • @Witchmeal Hopkins, the great Richard Burton, Finney, O Toole .. Jesus mostly any british actor.

  • @morklind ooo exciting! Some bios to watch then

  • @Witchmeal That's stupid. There's tones. And most of there family have barely input into the industry as it is.

  • @simmie69 he is an ACTOR.

  • @simmie69 He doesn't need to speak well spoken to be thoroughly middle class....he doesn't need to be lower class to understand the difficulties of alcoholism and drug addiction.

  • @simmie69 well its probably so that the kids will think that he is like them so then they will listen, if some posh "bloke" comes strolling in and starts telling them what to do there not going to bat and eye lid, but if he acts like them they will take more notice

  • @simmie69 You seem to think that being middle class excludes one from getting themselves into trouble or problems in their lives.

  • he's incredibly hot and he reminds me of Jonathan Rhys Meyers but he doesn't know how to dress

  • This guy reminds me of Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) in so many ways...

He definitely could play him in a movie!

I've only known of this guy since I saw "Inception" on New Year's Eve (3 days ago) and I've had a rather difficult time finding a reasonable* explaination why HIS performance stuck out more than anyone else's in this film!

    Am I the only one?

  • @cranegaroo Because he has swag. Seeing inception all I could think was this delicious man has so much swag I don't even understand lol.

  • @cranegaroo I thought the same thing. He was the most enjoyable in the entire movie. It might be because of his accent or just his way of being, I have no idea.

  • @cranegaroo Same here!!! Well, I felt that everyone in "Inception" was badass but there is just something about him that makes him standout.

  • @cranegaroo The big draw of the film Inception was Leonardo Dicaprio for me. I've been a fan of his for years. However, walking out of the theater I couldn't help but wonder about Tom Hardy. I was immediately attracted to him and wanted to find out more. I want to watch his other films now. His performance in Stuart A Life Backwards was amazing. I can't wait to see him as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises.

  • hes a great actor with a great future ahead of him, nice voice too !

  • he looks badass with the long hair slicked back in a ponytail haha..cant wait to see him in batman 3

  • @TheLApitfighter I know :( and i can't grow mine cause im a bald bastard lol

  • Omfg i love his hair Damn he is Hot!!

  • tom hardy is the best ! I LOVE HIMMMMMMM !

  • My friend told me the subtitles were wrong. Can you fix them?

  • @Sasukeandslashrmine Which subtitles? There are none for this video.

  • @hjulia76 When you click the close captions that videos have they don't match up I guess. Someone told me Tom has a cute voice though. :)

  • @Sasukeandslashrmine Oh, I see. I had no idea. Can they be changed? I mean, can I change them, do you know? So they match up.

And yes, Tom has quite the lovely, rather deep voice. :)

  • @hjulia76 Well a lot of videos have the subtitles correct, but there's something off about these. It's alright though. I can get my one friend to translate it to me. :) Thanks for your concern though.

  • @Sasukeandslashrmine why do u need subtitles there English just bloody listen

  • @malt8291 I'm deaf I can't hear.

  • @Sasukeandslashrmine Sorry and i`m a stupid rude idiot..So sorry xx

  • @malt8291 It's alright. How would you have known over the internet? I'm just a big fan of Mr. Hardy. His work is inspiring. And he's a cutie. :) I just wanted to hear the interview it's okay though.

  • great upload I honestly didn't know Tom Hardy did this kind of work! very impressed , thanks

  • It's really very admirable of him

  • Right on Tom Hardy. My hat is off to you mate!
