@ice9willENDusall Thanks for reply, it's so nice to get some feedback from my comments. I do take back a little about younger singers. I went to the club last night and when i saw a young femail singer on the stage preparing for the show my heart sank into my boots, i could not have been more wrong, ( may God forgive me ) her name was Samantha Adams and she was fantastic i could not keep my eyes from the stage and the rest of the audiance were the same. Just hope she gets the break she deserves
Thisguyfrritz i do like some of the new song but was brought up with the old singers and songs and just love them all fortys, fiftys, early sixtys.I go to a social club on a saturday night to see and here the singer & generaly find that the older singers are better than the younger ones because the older singers sing the songs our age group wants to here but maybe i'm selfish, probably to set in my ways, but very happy with the way i am.Thanks for comment
When I was in high school, Eddie hit it big. Every time I hear his songs, I remember how I welcomed them then. He blessed our generation with his love songs.
They sure don't make music like this any more -- sad. What an absolutely beautiful recording. Eddie Fisher was and still is my all-time favorite singer. Do I have good taste, or what! I just listened to I'm Walking Behind You.
Eddie was an integral part of my childhood. His singing went right to my heart and I used to wish that I was him. I sang his songs a thousand times with my father who played the piano. This is a major loss. He had the purist voice of all time and when I hear it on these videos I am transported to myself as a child singing my heart out. He was better than all the others. I am very sad.
This original recording brings back memories of the summer of 1953, when it hit number one on Billboard magazine's "Honor Roll of Hits." Thanks for posting this classic.
Sinatra was more famous for his connected and womanizing ways than the quality of his voice, yet they beat up on Eddie for failed marriages, go figure America.. One of the best set of pipes for his era..
EDDIE FISHER THE VOICE .Anyboby can sing love songs .Eddie is the one. Have all his songs on 45s. At these times man and woman want each orther Just the songs thay sing .You never see these times again.

why isn't God producing singers and songs like this anymore ?
curtainsrail 2 months ago
@curtainsrail Times have changed. Some people "adapt" to "new" songs.
ThisGuyFrritz 2 months ago
@curtainsrail god is still producing them lol, the music industry just wants nothing to do with them.
