If you watch from the begining and focus your eyes on the right up corner of the camera view (where the lamp is) on 0:04 you'll see some movements that probably freaked the dog.
It tells us how good dogs reaction on even such a little vibration.

Dog gets up at 21:38. In the 2nd shot, there's a shake at 21:38 that is too subtle to see in the first shot. So, the dog reacts to the shake that everyone feels, that's why the chair moved as soon as the dog got up in the first shot, that guy felt it.
Guys, you're being fooled by the video because you can't see the shaking in the first camera right away. But the earthquake had already started.

Now watch the video from the second camera. Watch the light fixture in the upper left corner and watch when it starts to shake. Pause and note the timestamp: 17:21:38
In other words, the building was already shaking at 17:21:38 in both videos.

Sometimes happens that some animals get scared with the minimun ground movement, because many of them have much better developed the sense of balance than the humans.

In the first video we can see that the dog runs at the end of the 37 second, an it seems that it notices something before the earthquake starts, thats OK.
But look at the second video, the window on the right starts to shake just at the end of the the 0:37 second!!! even begins to fall dust from the ceiling after that little wave.

if you look closely, notice that he doesn't hear anything, otherwise he would've lifted his ears....what got that dog's attention was the very first small shockwave..at the 36 second mark..and then he turns to look down and sees the electromagnetic pulses radiating out from the ground, and he sees all those flashes of light or photons lighting up in the air. you can see them clearly when the lights go out, but not too clearly when the lights are on. Don't confuse those specs of light with dust!

That's an IR camera, at 17:21:48 it switches to IR mode, and you are seeing the usual distortions of IR imaging plus shaked dust that had been in that ceiling for decades, and is being shaked away by the earthquake. Other artifacts are due to the fact that this was probably captured at a resolution bigger than 320x240, and therefore interlaced. Shaky camera + interlaced video = lots of artifacts.

I only want to say that IN THIS CASE, what the dog noticed was a mere shake, obviously before the big one.
Sometimes happens that some animals get scared with the minimun ground movement, because many of them have much better developed the sense of balance than the humans.

Sorry, but I don't see that the dog anticipated the earthquake.
In the first video we can see that the dog runs at the end of the 37 second, an it seems that it notices something before the earthquake starts, thats OK.
But look at the second video, the window on the right starts to shake just at the end of the the 0:37 second!!! even begins to fall dust from the ceiling after that little wave.

They do not "sense" them, they feel them and the really slight movement and hear the sound before it starts really going. We cannot do this.

they hear the magnitude or something sorry for bad english, but they can hear the magnitude from 15 miles away, this magnitude ran the 15 miles in 4 sec :p, somehow today while i was eating with my family i felt an extreme feeling that there will be an earthqueke, and after 3 hours it happend an earthqueke of 1.6 magnitude

if you look closely, notice that he doesn't hear anything, otherwise he would've lifted his ears....what got that dog's attention was the very first small shockwave..at the 36 second mark..and then he turns to look down and sees the electromagnetic pulses radiating out from the ground, and he sees all those flashes of light or photons lighting up in the air. you can see them clearly when the lights go out, but not too clearly when the lights are on. Don't confuse those specs of light with dust!

@tex214xas You are ridiculous. What you are seeing is nothing but several camera artifacts. That's an IR camera, at 17:21:48 it switches to IR mode, and you are seeing the usual distortions of IR imaging plus shaked dust that had been in that ceiling for decades, and is being shaked away by the earthquake. Other artifacts are due to the fact that this was probably captured at a resolution bigger than 320x240, and therefore interlaced. Shaky camera + interlaced video = lots of artifacts.
