However, please note that on every flight, there's bound to be someone who might be a first-time traveller. He or She may not be as 'travel-savvy' as you are and therefore should a crisis happen, he/she ought to be given clear and easy-to-understand instructions to follow!
The language of the native land is always spoken at first and then secondary non-native language. Regardless of what airlines that you are flying.
Give respect to the flight attendant and salutes to their hardwork. Try to learn and imitate when there is an emergency arise from others. No need to speak any English or etc....

I don't think anyone is out here is trying to condemn the FA ... rather, we are all very concerned for her NOT UP TO STANDARD English because it can be a hazard during emergency evacuation. We're NOT asking for all FAs to speak the Queen's English but all FAs must attempt to speak a form of English that is intelligible to everyone. I would say we can roughly understand 80% of what she's trying to convey but as long as there is the 20% gap, it should NOT be tolerated.

The fact that she can still speak english though not perfect is good enough. Have you ever tried the local european airlines? Its no better. Try not to be critical. You have flaws of your own too, for as long as the service is acceptable. Who cares....Who made it a rule that one must be fluent in english, to be regarded as elite.

maybe they pronounce not that good cause they're not from England or America. Maybe she can't pronounce but she knows alot of words that you guys don't know. I know alot of vietnamese people. They don't pronounce that great but they know alot of words, and that's the most important thing.

pilots do have to be smart but flight attendants dont. i fly a lot and trust me there are some really dumb flight attendants who can still speak multiple languages.

I've flown different airlines and I noticed that their attitudes and behaviors prior to type of service really depend on what culture they came from and that really resulted in how they act toward you and so you thought they seemed dumb when in fact you were the one who was. plus, what if they just got the job. if they can speak multiple languages, how they HEll are they dumb, you sounded dumb for makin shit up
