Trey isn't just some heady ass guitarist.... he's a composer, he majored in Musical Composition (or somethign like that), Divided Sky was his masters thesis, this is his forte, all you scrubs who just listen to him to hear something heady won't enjoy this, and i have a feeling Mr. Anastasia could care less if you don't like his work.

oh please... sit down and listen to some Duane. He is the only guitarist on the Rolling Stone Top 100 Guitar Player List that I have not seen ONE person protest or complain about his #2 position. Not to mention in another public poll on Rolling Stone's website that had ABB as the #1 jam band of all time. You just can't beat any of Duane's live playing or studio recordings. It just flows so beautifully and cleanly as Trey's playing just doesn't do 100% of the time. But I still <3 and respect Trey

But more to my original point, you cannot call ANY one player or band "the best" in fact most players/bands would find that insulting. As a life long musician I've listened to PLENTY of Duane and been floored. But I still don't agree with your statement.

i like it, its different. treys there, which is awesome; i can hear his guitar, which is all that matters to me; and he must be very proud of it and think that its good because hes making the "trey face" in a non-jam environment
