It's so much more satisfying to get a 2 for 1 with the gnasher rather than the sawed off. I got 2 or 3 gnasher doubles during the beta

Technically this is a glitch. It should have only killed the player further away from you. The headshot victim only died because his head was phased through the weapon. Damage from the weapons in Gears of War originates near the trigger, unlike in most games where damage is projected from the end of the weapon.
