I know because i was hoping to buy one recently because they are very good value for money but i couldn't find any 5 year old vitos that weren't ready for new panels...

@215alessio ; Have a 12 year old Alfa sportwagon in met red and looks like a 2 year old car, it is rust free and regularly recieves positive comments wherever it goes, all electric are fully working so very reliable and will be replace with a 159 SW soon.

Renaults only problem is electrics, but i chose a 15dci with windup windows and no aircon so no problems so far in 2 years,

Alfa are part of Fiat group along with Ferrari, Lancia,Maserati all very desirable to me and beautiful too.

The 159 had many meccanical as well as electrical disfunctions

that's why they don't make them anymore

the 1.5 dci of renault wears faster than other engines and after 200 000 km it will stop to be reliable.

@215alessio ; Thanks for the advice, i am not a Renault fan but they are a lot of vehicle for little money and touch wood i've had 2 years problem free so far (it is serviced with very good oil etc), It just grates a bit when people harp on about VW etc, well i've owned a few Golfs and Audi's and to my suprise my Alfa's have been as reliable and cheaper to own, prettier too.

but the golf mark 3 wasn't made that quality anymore.

I drove my kangoo 60m on the right site with the weels on the left on a high way. i was happy that the right side mirrow did not break so the right window in front did not break like the others in the rear and my girlfriend keeps undamaged.

i drove about 160km/h and a car from the lane on the left site changed to min with i think 50 km/m less than me - about 10 m in front of me - i think i was in hins dead angel and he did not see me. so i have to slam on the brakes and the kangoo build ....

He was pleasantly surprised when he realized he could travel at 160 km/h in highway, and that the Renault diesel engine seemed much powerful on uphill than the Fiat engine with a leather sofa and a cabinet loaded inside in my Kangoo. On the other hand 2.300.000 cars sold.

@Superchickenman159 if you want to get technical then the suspension is way too loose to steer stabe, the rear needs to be stiffen up because it had understeer problems. zlso there needs to be much more rebound dampening, front and back.
