I shall miss the Rev Professor Gomes so very much. He was such an amazing human being! I loved his sermons, loved going to Sparks House for tea every Wednesday, loved how he would comment on my tie when I would leave Memorial Church after Sunday service. I shall miss his voice and his marvelous laughter! He was truly a Balm in Gilead. Harvard will never be the same.
Sad I wasn't aware of your great love for Jesus and mankind till after you have gone from us. I will seek out your words you shared of the holy spirit, your wisdom, insight and your humor R.I P. Rev. Gomes I did not know you or heard of your contribution to so many humane and heart touching things you have done on earth. Now you are at the side of our Lord , May God have you in his loving arms for eternity
