I read an interview where Don said their manager wanted them to wear jeans and have more of a street look, which they rejected because Motley Crue was wearing some pink at the time. Don said whatever the Crue was doing they needed to do to. Fail..
Just wondering if anyone knows what guitar rig Lynch used on this early leg of the tour? I have read he rented a S.I.R. Marshall #39 later used by Slash and which has become one of "THE" most sought after tones ever! Just interesting to possibly hear the amp before the legend of the tone was actually recorded...
@SilverBayJ Lynch is/was notorious for changing his rig constantly... Back then he was alleged as using some Early ENGL proto's he acquired on an early tour... He also used Marshalls... Believe the SIR came later but can't be sure.
I swear everytime Dokken plays this song especially on this tour theres a problem. Tokyo 86, George pops a string at the end of the solo. Theres another bootleg where he looses his guitar signal completely during this song.
hey man thanks for uploading, do you think you can upload the rest of the rest show?

@sgage002 my god, in 1986 it should have been the other way around, Twisted opening up for Dokken.

@smitchix My God yes Dokken should have opened, Lynch has more talent than all os TS

@fendergibs I think you mean Dokken should have been the headliner? Lynch had more talent in his PINKY than all of TS, you are correct!
