  • i went to e-on they are a lot better and any problems there engineers come out within 4 hours british gas talk the bullshit but dont back it up

  • Just to update on this all, I did not owe British Gas any money, they did eventually respond to this but not until I was selling the house I was living, they had a default against me which would have delayed my sale, I managed Finally to speak to someone who told me "well I can see what happened, you have been billed for gas and electricity after you left us" she removed the default and I have not had any debt letters since, for all you synics I always pay if I owe, British Gas are still crap.

  • yep, i had the same problem with midlands gas, and i never was a customer. after three years they took the meter away, onh no, what will i do now?, as i am all electric, carry on as normal.

  • Eon eh...How's that higher bill coming along? or have you left them too because you can't understand why they chase you for only paying of some of your balance?

  • ermm i don't know the point of this video i dont think they will see it lol an did you say '' and let me get on with my life with (ian) '' hahahahaha im sure its eeeonn

  • you be surprised, greed is there friend.

  • BRITISH GAS SUCKS!!!!

  • British Gas have free telephone numbers, no standing charges since 2000, dual fuel discount, lower tariffs by registering online. I d check your tariffs before switching over. Eon may have lower tariffs but their standing charges make you pay even without using their energy

  • I bet they're cacking themselves that some self absorbed hormonal bint has gone to eon!! Probably the most boring vid ever - in the scheme of things luv you ain't important -get over it!!

  • Hydro Electric and British Gas are far better service in my experience than some of the other suppliers. BG are the biggest company so if anything went wrong they would therefore be more likely to be the supplier though. Take some responsibility over your bills and you won't get chased for what you owe...

  • what if it's not their bill, british gas has a big reputation for sending bills out to people that doesn't belong to them, like me, they say I own them something like £500 for my eletric, i'm not a british gas customer, never was, i'm with southern eletric, been with them since I moved in in DEC 08, I was only with british gas for gas for about 3 weeks during the change over from the prevous tenant and I'm still being harrasted by these gits till today, despite the evidence and phone calls.

  • I've moved lots of times and I found any gas or electric company can have mix ups like this markhorneyuk. I assume you have called british gas to find out when the bill is for... To be honest it sounds like either southern electric or british gas have a wrong meter reading somewhere (either from when you moved in with BG or when the companies changed over). I would call them both to get it sorted if you haven't already, rather than just slag them off. They're both great to speak to...

  • right, the meter is a key meter, the bills are for a basic meter, southern eletric, IS MY supplyer, confirmed by them with the key meter in question, including the dates giving, british gas however, has the wrong meter and EVEN THEY admit it's not their meter, 3 times they admit that's not the one in my cubpard, they even thought that there was 2 meters in the same flat where i live on an estate, for fact that my father works for edf and has put some meters in theses estates.

  • BG pays EDF to put their meters in, just like Southern eletric, but the digital meter reading doesn't match that of a BG serial as my supplier, it matches the Southern Eletric, I even got a letter from EDF, my father read it and sorted it out with no problems, BG are just too lazy to send someone from their company to read the meter and log it in as not one of theirs, despit even BG confirming it's not their meter after reading it out to them, if you like, I send you my BG nightmare story.

  • BG sort out heating, plumbing and electrical issues as long as you have a care package with them.. One supplier doesn't ever pay other supplier to do anything, let alone exchange meters, so you're very confused on this. Everyone has a meter operator (who own the meters and change them) which is dependent on area and not supplier. Also, meter readers (also by area) are separate from supplier or operator so do your research! So as I said, you've called both suppliers to sort this out?

  • British gas only put in their own materials in, gas, heating..etc, as for eletric, they pay someone else to put in a eletric meter in as british gas doesn't supply it's own eletric, they don't call it british gas for nothing, they normally pay EDF to put in a BG eletric meter, BG doesn't put in eletric meter, they don't cut eletric wires take out the old one and put in the new ones, they do this on their own gas meters, so I did do my research, got it from the source.

  • @markhorneyuk every single area has what's called a meter operator, a distribution network operator and a gas transporter. meter operators are in charge of the actual meters and are generally either onstream or enterprise. the supplier is NEVER EVER in charge of the meter! don't know where you did your research but it was bad!!

  • @jfychan and where did your crap from?

  • british gas are shit
