I worked with Tony in Dec of 07 on Mr Washington's house. Tony's the real deal. There is only one way to make a difference, you just got to "DO IT". Stop thinking and start doing. We each have to take the responsibility and make it our own.
I care so much for so many of the veterans. My husband is a veteran and I loooovvvvee him. He has so much sense about what is important in life. Once you have someone try to shoot you to kill you, you figure a lot of things out. I've met a lot of vets like him. By the way, I am a nurse and tried to volunteer after Katrina hit. The red cross didn't call me back or email me back. They just ignored me. And I tried many many times to try to volunteer.
great video. need more guys like that. it was his time.. the old man just wanted to die in his home and he made it possible. i was a lucky one and lived through katrina, lost all my crap, but i didn't own so i moved out the state/region ..it's surreal to see all your things, personal or what ever, lying in a pile in front your house ..i still feel lucky.
i helped family and friends clean-up and re-build and then couldn't take anymore. nola is still nola, just more wrecked homes now.
There is something wrong with our Governments priorities. Goes to show how much Big Brother really cares about its citizens. If they , we are disposable to them.
When we not as Americans but as human beings unite to help one another in dire times as i just witnessed; that truly gives hope to mankind.
Good works!
