I am 70 years old and I have seen many unhappy older couples, but I know couples in thier 80's who have withstood the test of time and have a love for one another that when that person passes from thier life they just never find any thing remotely close to loving again. That love in the movie Notebook is just about the most beautiful love story I have ever seen.

i met my "noah" 4 years, we ended up breaking up. but we remaind friends, i married and had 2 kids, when i lost my father he was the 1st person i called and i knew then that we were suppose to be together, i ended up getting a divorce and now him and i are back together and happier then we both have been in a very long time!!

listening to this song all day and thinking of my one and only true love, Danielle. I love this movie The Notebook and so does she every time we would watch it together we would both start crying, such a sad but wonderful movie. i met my noah last august, after knowing him for many years before that. We were so in love, and then in june we fell apart. Thru letters, just like Noah, he talked to me, he said his true feelings, and he sent one every day, from USMC bootcamp. He is coming home this weekend, and i cannot wait to rekindle our flame we had once before.
i love him so much, and we're getting married sometime next year. this movie is amazing, and it's just a reminder of my love and my life. iloveyou Joey. :) <3

I met my 'Noah' when I was 18 and he was 27. 30 years together. Loving/fighting/laughing and crying TOGETHER and forever and always in love just like the first time.
I lost him 3 years ago from a heart attack. He IS still here in my life everyday and always will be because he was/is/always be my life.

I loved him so much and I thought we were going to get married and be happy forever. When we broke up, we didnt talk for a long time. oh my god to have a love like that, a love so deep nothing else matters. i have the movie and everytime i watch it i cry just to have someone love you just half that much. oh this movie is sooooooo good and then they die holdining each other. that's love. she had alzheime's and they agreed she would write a notebook about their lives and when she could no longer remember noah wouldread it as a story.
