We were smoking through a low level route in Nevada....or north of there somewhere, and they had to abort the low level run due to bugs obscuring the wind screen. They debated declaring an in-flight emergency because they doubted they could see well enough to land. But by the time we got back to Carswell in Fort Worth Texas, the bugs had dried some and blown away enough to see. You never know out there. What next?

@djkoherence it are the G-forces they create a big presure on your body and allmost all the blood goes to your head thats why they need to wear a G-suit it keeps the blood from goinging all to your head, but it still looks like your head is explowding

@djkoherence Read about positive and negative G force. There are many maneuvars that looks redundant, but are done solely to prevent negative G from occurring. HIgh G force = not good for body. They get tired after long flight for this reason.

It's not your imagination.

What you are seeing is about a negative2.5 G  push which causes the blood to rush into the head.

This is the opposite of a positive G maneuver which causes blood to move away from the head..

These negative G pushes are extremely demanding and uncomfortable.

No American Military F-16 pilot does these negative G maneuvers at an airshow.

The Dutch pilots put on quite an impressive display.
