@TAz69x Funny thing, I can't imagine any love hotels going for an old and classy look. It's all clean and fashionable and modern. Comfortable, but with no soul.
Its like that old old house I saw in Gotanda, two story place that looked like it was from some post apocalyptic movie, and around there where some new fancy big buildings.
@benzone50 Yah. Tiny little thing. Capacity of 4 people, 280 kg. So I can kind of understand that when it got a call, it went straight to that floor without stopping in between.
We got to get DC to do a full on video for his music. for a minute i though you were in NYC but I heard Japanese. hahaha but really is cool to see stuff like that will throw you off guard every once in a while.
i thought i was the only one who cared about doors that u get to open manually...there r still a few left in the paris metro system and i've been told that i act like a kid at christmas when i see one of these old trains arriving.
There were plenty of paternosters around Germany, before they got outlawed for safety reasons. I rode plenty in my youth and the last one about 20 years ago in an old office building.
@betamaxdc I'll add a link to the muffin recipe in the sidebar. Amazingly simple. Only tricky part is finding corn meal (Kaldi's Coffee Farm, Shimokitazawa South Exit store has baking stuff on the second floor) and muffin baking trays (fifth floor of Seiyu in Sangenjaya) and measuring cups that I brought from the States... okay maybe not so easy...
@betamaxdc Funny thing about the rice ball... Bought one, just as I was getting out of the elevator in front of my door, fumbled and dropped it on the hallway floor. Went back to the store, bought another.
@novanine Tokyo has a very small number of buildings that have been around since before WWII, since the Taisho era, and they are beautiful in a way that no modern building is. Love places like this.
