the clark county fair runs the last full week in july friday thru friday plan try to plan your next layover during these times and u are sure to enjoy your visit with alot of fun food entertainment and livestock to enjoy also dont forget to try a couple porkchops at the pork producers grill in front of the hog barns best fair chops this side of the mississippi. thanks and Y'all comke back now yahere
I carry a folding bike with me I might do a video on this so yall can see exactly what it is all about. My truck doesn't have an upper bunk.
If you have an upper bunk just get a quality bike that is aluminum frame so it is light enough to get into the truck. I have Giant mountain bike (brand) that I can take apart and put together under a min. Great to have when you get in a place like that. If I owned my own truck I would have a bike carrier on the truck so I could lock it to the truck.
Try not to get too frustrated with the repairs...We want you safe & comfortable out there! Thanks for letting us ride along...It's a fascinating trip...Something I always thought about doing but never did. God Bless & Travel Safe!
I have never been to any rodeo. I am pretty sure they dont have any rodeos in UK and where I used to live, Toronto, well not sure there, but they do have them in Calgary. I am positive that I am missing something fun. Love to see them cowboys.
Those fairgrounds look nice now that they're opened up, but they were closed when I was at the Springfield terminal. My visit there was a sad one actually, because Werner was using part of the roads there off-season as a testing-out pad. A nice woman my age was told it was just practice, then when she backed up too far and hit a cone, they fired her. The supervisor at the pad admitted they had placed the cones for the turns and the parking in the wrong places. Her LONG past 4 mos. wasted.
There are sour grapes in every bunch. Not much activity going on at the fair grounds, but it gave me a nice place where I could enjoy walking and talking to myself and whoever might be listening.
You know I've been thinking the same thing, but you know how optimistic I tend to be. Just think after all these repairs I may end up with a pretty damn good truck! LOL!

You know Ron, if you get sidelined within, let's say 75 miles from here, give me a call and we can pass the time together. :-)
