The singer/guitarist, Geoff, developed some hearing damage over the years of touring. He decided to retire the band. He's formed Glorytellers since then... a bit quieter than Karate, but check them out!

great great song. one of the best live bands i've seen. sad that geoff retired them. thank you for posting this it is valuable music history.
