@DonDrummer Thats not what happened. Mike left DT to spend more time with his family, he played in A7x because their drummer died and Mike was one of his favorite drummers so they requested he join them for a few tours. In another video he talks about how he enjoys playing lots of different styles. He obviously loves prog but also enjoys playing other styles too.
Mike is so embarrassed when they bring up his schedule, lol.
