There is a manual for it, and it talks about how you're in a computer system hacking it and trying to clear out some viruses (or something) that have invaded it and trying to rescue the system that shut itself down.

i would die for a slight pc version of it,the dreamcast emulation lacks force feedback has sound crackles and some graphic bugs when entering a new sublayer of a level...it was so mindblowing on the ps2,i played it over and over,best psychedelic game imho

Actually I can get through most of the game without being hit, but then when I do try playing in that mode, I feel extra pressure and then I freak out and wind up making stupid mistakes that get me killed.

Ok, got this game two weeks ago and it absolutely amazed me. When I reached this boss (probably one of the most creative, colorful and coolest I ever saw)my jaw dropped.

I find it quite sad that such an old game is bringing me so much fun... I look at today's releases and none of them has this "thing" Rez has (essence? acid trip?)

Pity the video quality isn't the best =( With the proper resolution and everything, I can already sense the jaws dropping! Awesome videos. Seriously.

I fought the Tera boss.

The crappy quality really ruins the video. But basically you just fly around on a set path and have to shoot anything that comes your way. It's one of the most fun and addicting games I've ever played.

I can tell. You know that "storm" effect that appears when the Stage 3 boss dies? That doesn't appear on the Dreamcast version.
