a gc freeloader lets u play imported games, such as this one. most games have a region protection, which means they'll only play in regions where they are actually planned to be released, but the freeloader lets u surpass that protection. but i recommend u buy a separate memory card as imported games and u.s. games can't save on the same card. and save the imported on the new card, cause the freeloader might rewrite the old one's settings and who knows what might happen to ur data

You push the "Y" button when selecting characters. For a couple u can push "Z" an example would be with Haku. I think "Z" has him wear his white outfit without the mask. Also I think you can use "X" I'm not to sure I don't rly bother changing outfits with characters.
