It's so sweet how you and your daughter are =) i'v only just got close with my mum and i'm 22! What did you think of the 02 academy? i think there are too many stairs!!! There's nothing wrong with cheesy 80's rock, i like it better than anything modern (echo and the bunnymen are my fave). anyway great video, loved it! x

Yeh a LOT of stairs! Especially considering you have to go all the way downstairs to go to the toilet! The size and set-up is similar to the way The Flying Picket used to be, maybe a bit bigger than that.

Yall r 2 cute going to rock concerts with your mom is great. I took my mom 2 see aerosmith in like 95 i think it was but she had been wanting to see them since 74 and my sisters didn't take her. But some 20 plus years later i did it was freaking great

We did! It's very cool we can both appreciate the same music. I love live gigs and it's lot of fun being a part of my daughters early experiences with live music :) I'd never heard of The Blackout before, I'm not sure how I heard about the gig, but I heard them, thought they were a good middle priced band to go see, showed her the myspace page and she liked it and we went!

Not yet, tried to get a testdrive and it seems they are not readily available in my area. Car forecourts are shutting weekly in this economy too.

I have been keeping my eye on ebay though, It seems I could get a '97 for around £3000.

We did have fun :) I've been promising for ages to take her to something a bit more grown up because the other two kids are so young the last few nights out we've had have been to LazyTown Live, Joseph and his technicolour Dreamcoat (ok, that was MY choice lol) and Spongebob! I'm just thankful Nic isn't into pop boybands or techno, with her taste for metal I'm right at home!
