@goodygoody23 You are right that Ripper is technically a better singer than Ozzy, but Ozzy’s voice suits this song better. Ozzy’s voice is unique - he doesn’t sound like anyone else. That’s why Black Sabbath was never really Black Sabbath without Ozzy. Dio was a much better singer than Ozzy, admittedly, but the songs didn’t sound right with such a different voice. It’s like Queen without Freddie Mercury - it just doesn’t work.
