The HV30 doesn't really shott in 24p. It just looks like it, making it a diffacult process in the editing portions. You will have to learn how to do the pull down method and find a program that is able to do it.
Damn, this camera is just ridiculously awesome. I mean you can shoot a damn movie on the thing. This camera replicates a lot of 35mm quality film movies out there from the late 90's, early 2000. I mean its no were as awesome as 35mmHd quality, but its so damn close in my opinion, Good job having that camera man, I wish I could afford one....
Honestly If I had one, I'd be filming right now, not admiring youtube videos based on it. :)
what program would i need to use to edit film and keep it at the 24p so i can show it at a local theatre ?

Read the descrition... I didn't use a mic. These where all over dubbred sound effects... every shred of the sounds where sound effect tracks.
