  • 0 dislikes? That's still too many.

  • There are 0 dislikes, who could dislike this?

  • Please help me save a Catholic School. The children of St. Ignaitus Loyola School just want soemone to listen to them. Please help by simply watching their video on YouTube: Save our School St. Ignatius Loyola. Thank you.

  • james stewart is amazing

  • 0 people are retarded

  • faints. LIKE A BOSS

  • I still think that Jimmy Stewart should've won the Oscar for best actor;this was the film that made him a bonafide movie star and he gave one hell of a remarkable performance here;R.I.P.,James Stewart...aw,shucks!

  • Don`t know this movie but getting interesting ... so hope to find it and will watch the movie in its entirety, if possible ... Thanks Jimmy for this share ... greetings ... ♥~NorthStar~♫♥

  • @NorthStar618 "Mr. smith goes to washington". if you haven't found it by now keep looking; it's well worth the effort.

  • Man, I dont even think Daniel Day Lewis could pull this off. I guess we will fid out how good he really is when "Lincoln" come out...

  • This is one of my favorite movie scenes and I equate it with the Zuccotti Park Protest undergoing now in Wall St.as we speak. They too are challenging a lost cause, well it's not, cos it;'s gaining momentum and spreading like wild fires not only here in America but in other parts of the world. See this is really a battle of the rich vs, the poor and if big business doesn't share the wealth it will get bigger and god knows what's next. Thanks for posting this video, 1,001 *******'s for you!!!!

  • They should make a remake called Ron Paul goes to Washington. The modern day Saint of Loss causes.

  • All the people here who got to watch this movie as a school assignment are lucky. When I was in high school I was never shown any real classics like these.

  • I'm a republican but I still say this movies awesome

  • @theotherguy245689 This movie is the embodiment of Reagan Conservatism.

  • @Broadwaymungo well you could say it has the same spirit, i agree with that, but the whole political machine mess is sort democrat depending on how you view it

  • @theotherguy245689 That's a very fair point and I agree with you. We need the same term limits on senators and house members as we do on the President. 8 Years in the job max.

  • Required viewing because it gets to the heart of what the Murdoch scandal is really all about. Who runsthe country? The people we elect or those that tell us who to elect.

  • One of the best scenes in movie history.....I havent seen the whole movie But I will soon and I cant wait

  • @Caksman1027 I love both but would never give it to either. I'd say it would have to go to Gone With the Wind.

  • RON PAUL IS IN THIS MOVIE as one of the old men in Congress

  • @Roachenator do you have a mancrush on RuPaul?

  • If only Congress really had this passion and heart.

  • do not forget jean arthur

  • I think this is Jimmy's best performance

  • this ending made me want more...

  • Everyone needs to watch this film so that we can all be reminded what we are here for.

  • Mr. Smith for president in 2012. :)

  • One of the greatest movies of all time

  • also had to watch it for my high school government class and thought it was excellent

  • all of the great actors are gone young people today have no heroes just crap

  • 1:11

one of my favorite lines in the whole movie.

  • Mr. Smith is a Republican.

  • @ToxicOdiousOne He doesn't represent any ideology. He represents a good honest American in politics. And nothing else.

  • @EvilRadiatedMonkey Indeed and watching this movie and learning how the government worked made sad how rare it is to see a Good Honest American in Congress

  • My absolute favorite Stewart film. I love this movie so much, this scene especially.

  • Join "Campaign For Liberty" a Tea Party Lobbying group.

  • @evramos70 The film was called pro-communist and anti-American but banned by the Commies, Franco and Nazis. So don't put such a universal film under an ideology,

  • What a superb action. Simply awesome

    Thanks and blessings

    uma m nakka

  • Thats what he gets for smelling his fingers

  • awesome scene from a man who had no acting training at all. Jimmy your'e the best!

  • Mr. Smith's naive love for America. *Thumbs up*

"Lies like these;" it was a trick. Typical of the elite causes. Typical of the elite liars in Congress.

  • Genius work...

  • Why did you cut off the end?

There is only a minute left.

  • wow i got chills when i watched this

  • I only wish reality were this noble....great acting and great movie....however, the ant-colony we live in is a bit...in jeopardy at the moment....

  • Too bad graft these days is called "campaign contributions" by the PACs.....

  • what a scene

  • This scene made me wibble. ;___;

  • #t=0m56s

  • i love this movie, i am so glad you posted this

  • good movie it show the ppl how the government really is and this movie was made in the 1939 some stuff never changes

  • I had to watch this movie for my American Government class and I just say, this is one of the finest pieces of American film and so truthful.

  • @CassaStarfire We watched it in history too. I think I only saw the ending. But I saw the whole movie this past weekend.

  • @CassaStarfire You're DAMN RIGHT!!

  • @CassaStarfire Me too and I am doing an Essay on it now:)

  • @CassaStarfire I had to watch this in school, too.

  • @CassaStarfire I don't care what anyone says, THIS MOVIE BEGAN MODERN CINEMA! Everything before was either Silent, Campy, Musical or a Drawn-Out Epic. Some would say Wizard of Oz deserves that distinction, i believe this film has that honor. The final Ten minutes of this film might be the greatest Ten minutes of any film period.

  • @CassaStarfire thank God you're watching this for a government class. Government is so screwed up nowadays, everybody needs to watch this movie

  • Frank Capra was a genius.. I think we need some movies like this now.. the good man standing up in the face of graft..
