This was supposedly recorded before Roberta Flack's hit version. I do believe it's true, because it has a very similar arrangement to the original version by Lori Lieberman, who was the first to record it. For me, it's a toss up between Lori's original and this subsequent great cover by Mr. C! I can't decide!
The hit version, by Flack is pretty good, and I like it, but it can't touch this one or Lieberman's!
Perry was given all the attributes by GOD HIMSELF to serve as a perfect role model for all mankind.R.I.P.Perry, i miss you dearly.Thank you for this beautiful song and tribute to my singer
Hey Yessica, my family grew up with Perry Como, he was a huge artist not only for his music but as a huge TV entertainer back in the 50s and 60s. This video is so romantic that though he's been gone now for some time I can imagine him looking down and thanking you for this beautiful tribute. You know I'll be adding it to my romance channel with all the other greats. It's not Frank Sinatra but he too would have sung it with a touch of romance. Thank you for posting it, your # one fan, Jimmy!!!
