  • im moving there tommorow SWEET.

  • @deanwatkins26 Cool.. welcome to the area. It takes a little getting used to, but its a great place to live!

  • @Iridium242 WTF IS ART BELL??!!!

  • at 1:32 you see Tims Area 51 Fireworks store

thats is the fucking shit. been there and i love that place

all the way from seaside oregon

  • Have a chance to move here any good jobs in pahrump

  • @mars188 no dont go its a black hole and there is nothing to do and almost every one there is a drug addict

  • I was out there Oct 2010 and am looking at property there now. I LOVED IT!!!

  • How far is Vegas from there?

  • @Gideon6640man 60 miles

  • Are there any places to go fishing around there? also, how are the gun laws? are Ak47's allowed? I target shoot and love to fish.

  • @Gideon6640man People fish here.. I know because I have seen them sell fishing licenses at Walmart. AKs are legal here matter of fact, I work part time for a major AK shop in Las Vegas 3 days a week. Full auto (With correct paperwork) and suppressors are also legal in Nevada. Do a google search for Rifle Dynamics.. thats the shop where I work. NV has decent gun laws.

  • @Iridium242 Cool thanks Gun laws in Calofronia suck unless your a cop or gangbanger.

  • @Gideon6640man lol I know.. moved from Monterey CA to here in NV.. much better here.

  • @Iridium242 How is the rent there? utilities etc...? what kind of work is there?

  • @Gideon6640man Rent is cheaper than most places. Utils are cheaper as well. Not too much work here unless you work in Casinos or walmart. There are jobs, you just have to look harder.. not sure what kind of work you do where you are... but I am sure there is something. Wife and I run a business from our house and I work part time in Vegas 3 days a week.. so it works out OK. Great place to be self employed however.

  • @Iridium242 I am a truck driver so i would be looking in to driving truck so any trucking places near by

  • I'm trying to relocate there. What is a good area there in a neighborhood. I'm not ready to live in the desert without close neighbors. thanks!!

  • @esbliss I grew up there. I'm in Vegas now, but Pahrump is very friendly. The homes are spread out, and close. It depends where you choose to live. They do have neighborhoods, and homes in the mountains. Altogether though, Pahrump is a very welcoming place with very friendly people :)

  • Does the mob bury people in the desert there?

  • I've been checking the real estate there and love how the houses are on one acre of land, plenty of elbow room. Would it be a good place to retire? Are they friendly to newcomers?

  • @mjazzguitar Everyone is welcoming thre. A lot of community events usually :) Igrew up there, so it was my favorite. I think you'd enjoy the peace and quiet.

  • @ArizonaTea4life

Thanks for answering :) I've also been thinking about AZ.

  • @mjazzguitar Oh, it's no problem at all. I once stopped in Arizona on my way to Ohio. What I saw was nice. It's definitely more social than Pahrump, but that's only because there are more people. Both places are equally mutual with people though. Everyone has their moment, but overall, very accepting.

  • i love pahrump and still do

  • I love Pahrump and I miss it :"(

If you live there and you ever saw Built Well construction my dad founded it

    (Sam Woods)

  • I haven't been "over the hump to Pahrump" for many years. It's grown since then. And I didn't see the trailer...er...manufactured homes sales offices in this video that were prevalent the last time I visited there.

  • What describes a typical Pahrumpian? Liberal? Conservative? Old? Young? Employment? Industry?

  • Mostly conservative Not much high end employment (Wife and I have our own biz so that's not a real problem for us) and mostly older however we are not part of the older crowd yet.. Oh yeah, and most Pahrumpian don't recycle :)

  • @FindlaySucks old, i live in vegas and its only is about 30 minutes away and we got my cousens german shehard and my unkles black lab there and every one was an older farmer type person!!

  • I stayed in Pahrump a couple of years ago i loved the place. Im Scottish but love Nevada wish i stayed there the weather here is grim there aint no summer ever

  • im gonna get som fireworks next month :)

  • I used to live in Pahrump back in 1992. Loved it! I'm afraid those days are long gone.

  • Funny how when you go past Albertson's and Wal-Mart, the palm trees kinda make you forget it really IS Pahrump! Cool seeing my car over there at Bog-O's parking lot when you made the cruise up 372. Cheers!

  • heh ya.. remember that song? Figured it would bring back a few memories.

  • Love the music choice! =)
