Working on it, I added 4 large coil springs that greatly reduced the impact of the legs and smoothened out the ride for 2009, next year I'll be adding additional springs to further reduce the impact and make the walking cycle more continuous.

The machine is capable of rotating 360 deg. in both directions. as far as useless well that depends on what one is trying to use it for.

@DGMRuadeil There is an arm that drops down from the Belly of The Beast and lifts it off the ground, the arm has a pivoting disc that ballances the machine from it's center of gravity and allows it to rotate. I will post a video of the steering mechanism and other improvements hopefully in a month.

I walked by this monstrosity and could not figure out how the hell it moved. I even checked out the drive shaft, the universal joints, transmission on the small block engine. That thing is amazing! Wish I could of seen it move while I was out there.

Lol, it actually has a big block 454. It just looks small compared to the size of the Beast. And it still takes 125:1 gear reduction to move it.
