ok, i have to admit that the lick at 0.57 was not very clever. i've been to workshops whith the whole horn section of this band. they're good jazz players, even andy fusco admires them! well maybe except the chick, she is not that grat in improvising.

he's not really out of time, he just didn't play the changes very straight. should play with more convidence maybe. if you compare with the second trumpet player you can hear that his technique is much more developed.
