I dont get why everyone is hating. I think this kind of discipline is needed in law enforcement so that police can remember that they have a duty to uphold. Law enforcement can be a stressful job, and this kind of training can help them learn how to work under stressful situations.

I wouldn't be able to take this, only because I would laugh to hard. Military Recruit Training blows this out of the water. Even AFBMT is harder than this. Who would actually want to do this, they're civilians being screamed at. I understand military getting screamed at, because we weren't civilian and didn't have rights. Oh well, I guess.

Those who are bullied, are more likely to bully when they have the power to do so. And you say that people who are bullied become cops, are trained with abuse, and somehow this isn't valid reason for uneasiness? The difference is, when soldiers come home, they aren't payed to comb through the community using their training for money.

Wow this is pretty bad. Police departments are not military establishments. Police aren't deployed to foreign countries, they don't have "missions", they're encouraged to handle situations in a non-violent way by using reasoning and logic. The military uses reasoning and logic to find the easiest and best strategy to annihilate their enemy.
Between police and citizens, there is no "enemy". This show is a load of shit.

This is mild compared to military training when I went thru it. I think some just have the attitude that just because they breath that they are entitled to "respect". Respect is earned and given to those who deserve it in environments such as this. Conversely, lack of attention to the standard and meeting it is met with disdain and consequence. Only children cannot or will not understand that concept.
