I remember this bike well as I raced one in back in the day. You could buy a brand new one for $1,000. That was a lot of money then.It was the 1980 that had the flat, square rear fender. Never liked it at all.
@flyinbryan1619 You may be right, I raced motocross for 20 years and took a few blows to the head so my memory isn't what it use to be. Thanks for setting me straight. I do know I started racing the Suzuki RM 125 in 1978 and moved to the 250 in 79 and 80, 81 then went to the Honda CR 250 in 82, my senior year in high school. Thanks again. Jerry
My 79 RM125 still runs like it's brand new, I bored and rebuilt it some years back and it runs like a 175cc. Only thing now is that the muffler fell off and I need to find a new one, also I think the idle jet is too large, when driving up hills it sucks so much gas and struggles even in first gear.
dude where did u get the sick dg pipe from for this i got the same bike and havent found any aftermarket pipes for it. i gotta know where to get it please reply back thanks man sick bike hope it sells soon
sure you alreay know by now,but the bike's a 1980 model.it's cool though.the 79 was actually a little better bike.
