ok so i have a big problem .. when i make a new document in photoshop larger than the normal size and i go to use my brush ...THERE SUPER SMALL for example i take a brush and leave it on its max size (the biggest it can go) and the i go to use it n it shows up as if its at its lowest size ...HELP.. how do i get my brush back to a circle? i pulled up photo shop and my brush looked like a dot with four lines exstended out of it. how do i chang it back to a circle?

@22dragons28 It is a circle. It's just so small that if those 4 lines didn't exist, you wouldn't be able to see your brush/cursor because it's so small. You can adjust the master diameter by sliding the "master diameter slide" up or down.

@quickscopebeast77 Hey, I actually don't know how to flip it, but you can flip an object! Just use the brush and go to the "Edit" tap in the top and "Transform" the image or the printed brush object in to whatever direction you want it.

@Lee0w Perhaps you found this answer by now, but for anyone else...in the brush palette there are checkboxes that say "Flip X" and "Flip Y". This should allow your brush orientation to flip. If you are using a tablet, some enable you to flip your brush or change its direction by tilting or rotating the stylus. Hope this helps.

@nurullolo101 You can try using paths to do that. Learn how to use the pen tool to make paths. Then stroke the path with a brush while "simulating pressure" and you should get a nice tapir off on both ends of the path using the brush you have.

@lacosto Sounds like the layer is locked. Locked layers cannot be edited/drawn on. Either make a new layer or unlock the layer you're working with.
