  • Brought myself here. Been my favorite band since I was pretty young. Now im 16. This group always makes me happy even when im at my saddest. And makes me look forward to tommorrow.

  • St vincent brought me here.

  • Damn this stuff scares me

  • Scrubs brought me here also!!!!!

  • Scrubs brought me here

  • The polyphonic spree bring sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day!

  • "Cocaine's a hell of a drug...heheheh" - Rick James

  • @CanadianBelle85 I think we have lsd to thank for this.

  • @SonofJapheth Or tons of E.

  • My mom is in this band. So that make me famous to!!!!!!

  • @AdvoCareJordan who is your mom :)?

  • i play this song when everyone around me is being bitter and trying to put me down>>not going down> #rise above baby rise above :D

  • saw them in concert a few years ago at a smaller than this club venue, incredible energy, epic choreography, awesome concert. the singer is from the 90s band Tripping Daisy, remember them? one of the guys from that band died. This guy formed Spree out of this to lift himself out of a dark place and spread some old style cheer you up, peace and love music. Just enjoy it. The cult image isn't real.

  • i can't help but be put off by the cult robes. isn't it sad that we judge people by their appearances. When you see a "cult" you immediately turn off by it because it fucks with our sense of reality. Then the question we are left wondering as philosophers will ask, accordingly "what is reality". we stop thinking at that level, not because it is inconceivable, but we are lazy simple minded creatures who are capable of so much more brain capacity but societies standards will not allow.

  • @carpediem081791 as well as and probably more so doing with evolution and how the average intelligence level being at a "C" might progress as time goes on. IT's for this reason that we have classes of intelligence and thus wealth because in a monetary system we are rewarded based on what we can provide our economy aka our fellow man. But the system has failed for the system of reward has compromised our since of self respect and caused us to form greed/ Entitlement instead of reward from giving.

  • A cult? I thought it was a band that appeared on an episode of Scrubs...?

  • This was an an attempt at a cult, but a cult leader requires masculinity, and this guy is a swish. lol What's funny is that the other band members look like they are done with his ego-maniac shit.

  • I'm sorry but this is a fu#*ing cult

  • I'm sorry but this is a fucking cult

  • some chap called goreandtits what if it is christian music dont like it dont listen thicket

  • Is this the song from that episode of scrubs?

  • @monkeyjoe70 YES!! i was so suprised when i heard this as the background music xD

  • I hope they fired the janitor that left the lockup ward unsecured

  • Friggin' sweet!!!!!!

  • This band sucks so much dick.

I think I'm def from the wrong notes, horrible choir, and shitty song writing.

My eyes are blind from seeing so many ppl try to make energy from shitty music. Its like they try to shove it in your face instead of just being good.

This sounds like contemporary christian worship music.

  • @GOREandTITS SO MUCH TRUTH. I'M BLINDED FROM TRUTH!

  • Woo-hoo! Woo-hoo!!!

  • Love the fucking lavar burton flute!!! Holy shit!!!

  • Id like to see these guys play with the Flaming Lips

  • @sydbarrett5 I concur.

  • actually my mom is in this band and sush up. their not dorky

  • @superyogapalace Somehow I don't believe you.

  • @maroonghul im not joking, im bieng dead scerious. plus my friend is the lead singers son, his name is julius

  • wtf, scheisse ... O.O... was ist das den?

  • omigosh I love this. I dont know what their smoking but they captivated a new fan!

  • I dont think its because my A/C is on but these guys give me chills. So uplifting & refreshing

  • the power of the Spree is downright Amazing. & yeah acid abusers!

  • Im swedish, and this "band" remind me of a swedish artist calld Tomas Di Leva. I think that they're really cool and uniqe, not what I normally would listen to.. BUT I CAN'T HALP LOVING THEIR DRESSES!

  • I saw the band at the first time on scrubs. (:

    I like it.

  • @xxxSarutobixxx me to. This show makes me discover a lot of new songs and artists :-D

  • my dad was on that episode. he was the paicent

  • Any band which includes a french horn, flute, and a harp is at least trying to do something.

  • Literally spent weeks trying to remember the name of this song. Not sure why. It just makes me feel good. Thanks for all your beautiful works. :)

  • All that bad acid and sex at Woodstock had to bring us atleast one group like this.

  • Is this a band or a fucked up cult. I think the singer is about to give everyone some shady kool-aid!

  • Forget the fact they are all god botherers, this is a feel good song that makes you feel good from your toes to your hair follicles.... And lets face it, that can't be a bad thing can it?

  • @mintwithahole I don't think they are, actually... hehe

  • Why do I hate Richard Simmons and love this guy?

  • Didn't know Alan Davies was in a band

  • What a bunch of fucking hippys

  • that girl has a mustache

  • Woo, clap along to our rudimentary music you fucking sheep

  • you missed the end. Where the audience all come down to the stage and sign up.

  • Is this a cult? asking cause it kinda seems like it hahah

  • @ThePieMan04 lmao I don't know, it looks like one

  • @ThePieMan04 Just to be safe I wouldn't drink the Kool-aid at their parties.

  • I don't mean this sarcastically...but are they a mentally challenged band? Because some of them kinda seem like it...

  • the crowd is raping him !

  • The Polyphonic spree, kicking fucking ass and taking fucking names bitches!!! Fuck yea!!!

  • what ever happened to these tools?

  • yeah boy scouts making "music" on drugs - gotta love this hippie stuff

  • I'll give him a decade before he either has a drug overdose or gets caught fucking a 9 year old boy.

  • i dont now what they toke, but that is some serious stuff. you dont really do this sober.

    but the song is good

  • fuckin hippies is right. Having more fun than you, assclown.

  • Cocaine is a hell of a drug...........

  • I LOVE hippie chicks!!!!!

  • scrubs brought me here

  • @josephgaite Haha I just got done watching that episode and came here.

  • allt he way from sweden: fenceapart - polyphony

  • I don't normally make these types of comments, but 50 people genuinely have no soul :/

  • Fuckin hippies

  • Light and day

  • They are an a-religious group. just out to have a blo£$%y good time and try to cheer their audiences up. It makes a change. I don't like most of their music but I love their ethic. Good on them, they make me smile.

  • Well I can say these guys uplift my mood ;)

  • wow, gay hari christnas trying to play music. how funny

  • To everyone who's saying they're a cult and they're crazy just think of this:

All of those people on stage are having more fun singing that than you will ever have.

And like somebody said before, they're not on drugs.

  • i'm really sick of people that say these guys are a bunch of weirdo drugged cult hippies. How bout they're an amazing happy group of talented musicians who are different than any other band and put on a great live show

  • .....what...the....fuck?

  • actually - for some reason it reminds me of Cheap Trick - or maybe just one song (Surrender?)

  • happy cult :D

  • One word comes to mind: "cultish."

  • It would be amazing to see them cover/perform with the manic street preachers - if you tolerate this

  • you don't fail at making cuntish comments that don't make sense

  • Cult? You bitches don't get this band. Shhhhh

  • the more i see the angrier i get - it would be great if Slayer jumped on stage and beat everyone's ass

  • @cryptsub So sorry you missed the 80's. Slayer is for shut-in nerds who rage at their parents and think smoking weed makes a badass.

  • @Nosdormu I didn't miss the 80's (WTF does that have to do with anything) and I'm not the world's biggest Slayer fan, but I way prefer them to these smug bliss ninnys. I think we'd all be better off and valuable lessons would be learned if only Polyphonic Spree would be beaten severely, especially that cunt on the mic. Internal bleeding would benefit him greatly.

  • @cryptsub Rage more, you're making all the difference =)

  • @Nosdormu I can't explain it, but ever since I saw footage of this group at Coachella, I have been filled with unbridled contempt for them - sort of how I feel when I hear representatives of Scientology speaking. It's not that I only like hard music - Stereolab puts these guys to shame when it comes to uplift, genius and complexity. When I see PS, I think there's no 'there' there - that it's a lot of hype.

  • @cryptsub wow fail at looking cool

  • @FuryofFive how can I take the comments of a wrestling fag seriously? you are "cool?" how many "indiana hooks" have gone up your ass anyhow?

  • @FuryofFive Wow fail at trying to put someone down to try to look cool

  • Hippies :D

  • @Thetrollmaster2000 they are horrible hippie cunts, and so is anyone who likes them

  • if he wasn't wearing that red dot it'd be hard to tell if this concert was in china, japan , korea , vietnam, japan, phillipines or hawaii in this clip ?

  • Guy on bass, karl pilkington?

  • no offense, but they seem like such a cult

but such a "happy" song, gotta love it

  • heavy heavy heavy is all ican say it brings tears to my eyes when i listen this song an im 36 wiv 2 kids an wife but id luv s t o be there wiv my white gown spreading the love its free soak it up an ubath my son bath in while u can trust me your freind uncle delboy

  • I looveee this song!!! I found it from scrubs :]

  • when you drink the kool-aid in his cult its just a preperation for a gig

  • ...Jesus?

  • Not putting down the song or anything, but these people have their hands on some serious drugs

  • @VideoMen333 AGREED! I think others band playing about the same time as them are just going "We`ll have whatever Polyphonic Spree`s having."

  • @VideoMen333 Actually, the lead singer created this band after his bandmate of Tripping Daisy overdosed on drugs...he then decided he only wanted to make happy music (and not do drugs). You can be happy without them.

  • @VideoMen333 Then I will have what they are having

  • @VideoMen333

Yeah. Because nobody has creativity and heart on their own, right?

  • @VideoMen333 they are high on JOY pure and unadulterated..i hear the street value is free and you can find it on every bit of life.

  • @ojii111 I enjoy joy.

  • @VideoMen333 and i want some!!!!lol

  • @VideoMen333 no silly...they're a bunch of dorky music majors who actually found work. no wonder they're so happy...

  • "My date is a flute totting band dork."

  • What an odd transition from Tripping Daisy

  • The flute player rocks - and she is a great girl to boot.

  • She's not hairy. Is she ?

  • fukin hippies

  • Think I'm getting a thing for the flute player

  • @Moe23pd you mean that hairy thing? what ever floats your boat i guess.

  • This is cool Christian rock! The nuance and metaphor and the fact that it's so back-channel eh...The audience is really into this!

  • The Spree are not at all religious. Not one bit. I once asked Tim DeLaughter was was the deal with all the robes. His answer was 'There are 25 of us on stage. We would look pretty boring if we all wore our own clothes' Ive met them all over the world at times and I think Tim likes that people think there is a cult element but its not actually true

  • Does it matter whether they are religious or a cult? I just wish I enjoyed life and had a huge smile on my face like these guys do.

  • Finally, a cult to be proud to be a member of.

  • great band, but do NOT go to one of their shows on acid. that music makes for an EXTREME trip.

  • The Polyphonic Spree is a self-described "choral symphonic rock" - Do a little research. They are a choir that does rock. Makes sense that they would wear Robes if you see it like that.

  • they look like a cult. and the audience makes it more so

  • anyone know who the flutist is in the beginning??? Has she produced anything on CD?

  • legondary

  • st8 up ganga shit right ere

  • great song, wierd band tho...pure cult

  • @Thawooz yes ! I've found this this week as i watched scrubs! :D

  • wat is it with the white robes?

not taken the mick, just askin b4 u all start moanin at me

  • muy bueno!!

  • An unequaled song.

  • Bellissimo...always!

  • would love to attend a swing party with poly playing live :)

  • Sainsbury's ruins this song for me :(

  • @captainhobb I'm with you there;anything that reminds a person of Jamie Oliver is difficult to forgive!

  • That's a long mic cord.

  • HAHAH WHAT THE FUCK!! AHAHAHAHA

  • is this SAINSBURYS????????????????

  • I feel like I'm in a cult when watching this. It blows.

  • this is what candyflipping is like

  • that must have been a really long mic cable

  • I was back stage when this was recorded this mother has a Lamborghini countach we was doing line off each others boners. his countach was white like his robe it's hard to hide a boner in a robe like that. Also one time i did it with a dead guy.

  • @ThennyDlux

"it's hard to hide a boner in a robe like that"

    LMAO!

  • the public is white too, fantastic!

  • that. is. simply. amazing.

i do not know if I should cry or laugh... its a good thing i am watching this thing stoned hahahaha xD

that is the best and worst voice ever

  • St. Vincents beautiful ass self is in this band. I want to marry her.

  • @LaGreatChrisMaxie She hasn't been in this band for quite some time now... not really since she became St. Vincent.

  • Capgras delusion: the belief that (usually) a close relative or spouse has been replaced by an identical-looking impostor.

  • This song is one of those songs that comes very close to the pure essence of the soaring human spirit. Kind of like "What a Wonderful World" as sung by Louis Armstrong.

If I could, this would be the last thing I hear as I leave this world. It would be a great send off :-)

  • this song just makes me happy. =)

  • this is exactly where i want to be.

  • this is exactly where i want to be.

  • this is exactly where i want to be.

  • this is exactly where i want to be.

  • omg i wish i were part of this

  • I want to be clear. This is the worst generic crap written for idiots. Who are all these people at the concert?

  • @ryznaga yeah cause itunes is filled with 3 to 5 member bands spewing 3 minute songs for money so i can see how a vast multitude of musicians who love what they do and bring it to the people is generic

  • @ryznaga wow....this has a sound like no other. Its hilarious that people like you feel the need to comment on this. If you don't like it than just don't listen to it

  • @kappyman414 I enjoy knowing about it because it provides me with amusing things to talk about. To each his own, I suppose. Enjoy listening to it. Question; Do you light candles when you listen?

  • u dont have to be a christian to like this. I'm an atheist and get it fully. Just getting together, being peaceful, and enjoying life for the sake of itself. Isnt that what we're all looking for anyway?

  • D R U G S .

  • love this song sooo happy when your down

  • Bible bashers, no. They just like being comfortable.

  • Sainsburys killed this song!

  • They played a Sainsburys advert earlier during the break in the Scrubs episode this is in, wonder if that was a coincidence by E4 or not...

  • Are these guys bible bashers?

  • what are bible bashers?

  • @darbocity Jesus loving hippys.

  • jaja--hilarious...definitely the cultish vibe.

  • lol what's a bible basher? :L It's someone who is over-obsessively religious.

  • this might just be one of the best songs in the history of modern music!

  • The Spree are amazing - I saw them in Spain FIB, amazing I tell you, of course some won'y 'get it' but them some people are just plain stupid, what can you do?
