  • you can't do that in modern Cricket!!

  • so I am sweet charming

  • hiya just turned 18

  • Disgusting !!!!!!!

  • brave man kapil...., from Pakistan

  • lolol kapil owned this

  • he had given warning den also he peter kirsten do dat

  • real smarty kapil.u r genius

  • It is legal but against the respect of the (Gentlemen's game) game. As the book says.

  • @JohnAnkit418 He has warned him three times. Kirsten still does that. With the body line, bouncers and neo sledging cricket has long seized being a gentlemen's game. it is still a popular men's game though.

  • yep taking extra ground before the ball has left the bawlors hand is illeagle.!

  • @SuperAshahzad yes that is true however Kirsten should not have been given out because the rules stated then and still do now that the bowler cannot attempt to run out either batsman once he's entered his delivery stride and seeing as how Kapil was in his delivery stride the umpire should not have given him out at the very least he should've called a dead ball, cautioned Kirsten and reported him as well.

  • Mancatting someone is the least moral way to get someone out in cricket. There's no question is that it is legal and if you are caught out of your crease then you technically deserve it. But it's still not the most popular way to get out. As a bowler you can't really celebrate it.

  • @9978412 Well Indian team weren't really celebrating, as the commentator even said the batsmen was warned 3 times, its only logical to get him out if he keep taking an extra stride. I mean what would happen if they run a quick single and India would miss a chance at a run out because the batsmen tends to be way down the pitch before the ball is even released. He was warned and he got what he deserved.

  • @xtremespeed66 Oh, don't get me wrong, I totally agree. Any batsman who wanders out of his crease does so at his own risk - and the mancat rule is there to stop batsmen from gaining an unfair advantage. I was just saying that its not a popular way to get a wicket.

  • ite very legal..........

  • its Kapil Dev. so no surprise at all he does is cheat, even he cheated the wicket he got to break the world record at that time for most number of wickets

  • If this happened now, it's not out, batsmen are allowed to take a tart now

  • This is totally legal, a bowler can stop and hit the wickets just before his action to throw the ball.

  • @abbasean but he'd entered his delivery stride, so it should've been called a dead ball

  • Out.

  • Is it really necessary to be racist? Stupid trolls.

  • he's a typical pussy, like ravi shastri who bitches and whines about everything

  • @rodeo179 rofl agreed. did u see how he ranted against Nasir Hussain ?? Nasir put him in his place . that was epic

  • @hj576 - yea i read about shastri's stupid screed about how everyone is jealous. saw the nice rebuttal by Nasir as well :D

  • indians as usual, cheating.. cheating here is metaphorical for being unsportsman.. since they can't win in competition, face to face... they have to find ways, cowardly

  • @rodeo179 haha i thought this too. i think it's naturally in their game but if you watched the 2nd test between England and India, they did show sportsmanship in dealing with Bell's dismissal

  • Nothing wrong here. It's a great dismissal.

  • Kirsten had been warned twice about excessive backing up, but being the guy he was, he chose not to listen .. Kapil was well within his rights, both legal and moral to whip the bails off and claim the wicket. Serves him right, that Kirsten.

  • It is legal .. But Against Sportsmen Spirit .. well it came from india so no surprise there

  • @hj576 Not against sportsman spirit at all. And may I ask where you are from?

  • @XxMSV3N0MxX Em From Pakistan and it is . Once West Indies were palying against Pakistan and it was like last over and 1 out remaining for Pakistan and the West Indies Bowler had the same opportunity but he just warned the batsmen ..

And west Indies ended up losing the match

em not sure what series or when since my dad told me bout it .

anyways it is against sports men spirit to do such a thing .

  • @hj576 No, absolutely not. This guy was warned 3 times, not once, therefore Kapil Dev was fully in his rights to do what he done, besides, it would have taught the guy a lesson. And you, as a pakistani supporter cant say anything regarding sportsman spirit as your team match fixes, eats cricket balls etc.

  • @XxMSV3N0MxX lol i dont wanna fight with u kid .. first go and see how ganguly started crying when he was on verge of losing matches and how ur ppl threaten players they will kll them and burn their houses if they lose to pakistan and than talk bout sports men spirit

  • @hj576 Ganguly started crying, and tell me what **** that has to to do with sportsman spirit? It just shows hes passionate. And your fans are no less, you are talking from a very biased point of view and only mentioning what indian fans do not your own aswell. That point is regarding indian cricket fans and not the indian cricket team therefore thats an invalid point for sportsmanship.

  • @hj576 with ur crappy PAKI politics...U SHUD KNOW UR ROLE AND SHUT UR MOUTH!!!

  • kapil dev an all time great ass hole mother fucker

  • @charsadday u r ur own mutherfucker and also sister fucker and family fucker...i knw people who say such things regarding kapil dev can also fuck their own mother, father, sister and every1 in family for sake of money...u asshole..ur ass will burn out 1 day..

  • its perfectly legal ya dumb porkis, he was warned before... fukin 62 dislikes fuckin porkistanis...

  • hahahah...isnt he india,s best bowler???????

  • this used to be legal but it is no longer legal as some umpires didnt give players warnings

  • great ..............

  • Perfectly legal. My dad was an umpire. But he said it was etiquette to warn the batsman the first time he leaves his crease. After that, if he still wanders down the wicket, stump him.

  • Disgraceful.

  • how much money did india gave to the umpire to give thier side hahahah.....idiot indians

  • @Rafymemon1 Dude first have your grammar corrected and well you need to learn the rules of cricket or you are a dumb ass who knows nothing about the game!

  • What kind of bastard would ruin that mans game of cricket?.................. Kapil Dev

  • @armed119

    fuck u

  • @napour and I'll fuck her toooooo

  • Kapil Dev has tiger eyes.

  • Indians..... Cheats as always..

  • Depends when this was. Prior to The Laws of Cricket 2000 Code this was out (which giving the nature of the video it was) this was out. In the modern game this would be not out as the bowler entered his delivery stride. Under the laws he would only be allowed to stop his delivery. If it continued the batsman could be penalised 5 runs but not run out.

  • wild elephant comes right at us (((((it was a tusker))) pls warch this video it is realll i was their and it was scary im telling you this is a very rare thing to happend to mee who only 13 in a wildlife park but i was lucky pls plsl pls watch it is amazing

  • This is not legal.A ball becomes legal only after a bowler releases it.And then the dismissal comes into argument.

I dont know it if the batsman was warned before.

  • why the bowler is soo fukin angry? he looks like a dick

  • @SuperTaco20 he luks ur mama's frnd

  • @napour lolz haha

  • he should be playing pools that guy

  • I DONT KNOW WHETHER IF THIS WAS CHEATING OR NOT BUT YOU HAVE TO AGREE IT WAS DAMN CLEVER MAYBE THE BATSMAN DIDN'T REALIZE THAT KAPIL DEV WAS BOWLING I AM A PAKISTANI AND WE ALL RESPECT KAPIL DEV

  • hahahaha i would only say "shame kapil u r bigger player than doing that,,i would rather die than doing stuff like this

  • @shirazmian i would rather say its the use of wits...

and yeah wait.... only if u have got them :P

  • THIS IS Difference between IMRAN KHAN and KAPIL DEV.

IMRAN never cried like kapil did now indians wont agree with me kapil dev and sunil gavasker all were roootu

  • india rokzz...

  • The real cheater here is the batsman, not the bowler. Go read the rules.

  • kapil dev,what a sensible cricketer!!!!

  • Surely that's not allowed..

  • mean kapil

  • it's not sportsmanship. it's like shooting a basketball underhand from the free throwline.

  • @shirazmian he has already warned twice to him

  • It was legal. It has since been outlawed under the "against the spirit of the game" ruling.

  • its legal..its smart :)

  • I remember clearly Kapil warning him before actually doing it

  • i did not find any thing bad....kapil did rite thing..the sa asshole was warned for two times...but he kept on cheating...also the umpire agrees with kapil dev

  • @yourikhi ur right..but that sa asshole is gary kirsten.....

  • @areuaware1 peter kirsten you mean :)

  • Excellent !!

  • Kapil was a good cricketer buy not good human being

  • @NafizAbir lol what?? buy not?? wtf you spouting.. GTFO lol.. Kapil was the bowler to watch in his days!!!

  • YOU DID A RIGHT THING KAPIL PAJI .........KEEP IT UP !

  • Wow, that's smart!

  • If you watched the movie laagan this happened, perfectly legal

  • this s inteligence..

  • Kapil Dev is so smart!!:)

  • Kapil Dev pointed to the batsman that he had warned him twice before and we know he had spared him once before. This was the second time that Kirsten had done this. Hence the unfortunate but deserved result.

  • for a great bowler , all rounder .and captain of a Team .. This Actions not Looking Good on kapil Dev ..

  • @hbk786 you kid is a retard.. how does this not look good? this is legal so as long as it's allowed it's good and I've been reading that Kapil did give a headsup (warning) not once but twice..

  • @coolasta1987 ..its looks good on shreeshant type of bowler .. not perfectly fits on legend bowler like kapil pa ji . kapil dev is a world champ captain of india . gretest all rounder india ever produce .. so its show bad impact on his image .

  • @hbk786 No...Its actually smart cricketing with great observation & an eagle eye......its legal.

Anyone can do that , the thing is that they dont.

  • @hbk786 hmm.. but you know you gotta do what you gotta do to get your side to win the match right?? isn't that what comes first?? weird or not.. win comes first and we're all humans so shouldn't be a bad thing :\

  • Seriously?? Right now isn't it it legal to back up while the bowler is having his run up? If I am wrong plz correct me!

  • @Knowndon619 you can start to back only when the ball is being released or it is released, you can only take 1 step or 2 if you are fast enough. If not i can just stand 1 meter awaf from the grease, giving me a unfair advantage...so the run out was fine....just like stumping...you move out of your grease, and you dont connect,stumped...

  • @mumbaiindianspollock thanks :)

  • @Knowndon619 once the bowlers backfoot is planted the batsmen can leave the crease not before tht....and u can see in this clearly kirsten left before kapil planted is backfoot on the bowling crease.......wht kapil did was legal

  • dev....wt a b1tch...

  • kapil dev is the greatest.

  • ITS NOT CHEATING ITS LEAGAL..........HOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @pranavcalicut999 those days, yeah... nowadays, no...

  • @pranavcalicut999 lol you wouldnt have said that if South Africa did that to India you would be crying saying SF are the biggest cheater ever.

  • @pranavcalicut999 although it is legal i do not think its very sportsmanlike of a bowler to do that

  • @pranavcalicut999 although it is legal i dont think its very sportsmanlike for a bowler to do that

    they should be above that

  • @pranavcalicut999 yeah..it was then but not now...!!!

  • @pranavcalicut999 Legal.........

  • @pranavcalicut999 Yes it is. He was in his delivery stride.

  • look at to indian cheater

  • @niazstarr running before the bowlers bowls is normal for you porkis ... thats why u are calling Indian as cheater. heheheh

  • pro ass

  • i think i remember the match, Peter was warned twice before that incident in the same match.

  • @flucee it doesn't matter what you think...... :)

  • really the bowler should give a warning its unsporting not to.

  • @steve1mufc look at kapil's exasperated reaction and the fact he holds up three fingers - indicating that stupid moron has been informed of what he's doing several times already...

cricket is heavily biased in the favour of batsmen as it is, fuck giving them even more chances.

  • @HCihaiJB I see your point if he did warn him then fair enough but if not then you don't act like that on a cricket field, its not in the spirit of the game. I can't agree on cricket being heavily biased in favour of batsman though. Being an opener myself, wickets are becoming like minefields in england lately in favour of the bowlers and you always see pie chuckers getting wickets.

  • Weird Dismissal by Weird Cricketer

  • kapil phaji ka gussa. le gya piter kirstn ko .. hahaha

  • lÖl_ÁñÿõñÈ_wàñnå_chÂt_wÍth_më_í_feêl_sô_lÖnÈlY_tÕdâY♀

  • @CutauuCandrana891

Fuck off this is youtube..not any porn website..

  • f**k off all match fixing paki bastards to hell

  • THe Fuckin think the old man play in street if u run off crease im goin to out you hehe lol joka their legend do this kind of play

  • wht a cheap move.....all indians are cheap......

  • @awm11magum

mate you need 2 fucking piss off you racist

  • Well done Pa' g... Chhers from Pakistan... i Love only three Indian players. 1: Sir KApil../ 2: The god Tendulkar & 3: Dhoni the great

  • @hanantuf yeah are u sure u r a pakistani mate? i dont think so . Muslim dont call anyone God except Allah. get your facts right mate. you aint pakistani . i am sure you are some indian guy writing this to make ur own ppl happy!! what a looser

  • @hanantuf ok even if you dont believe in God!! there s no way a pakistani would praise dhoni as he s not that good.

  • I always thought a mankad dismissal required the full arm action...

  • kapil dev is a genius !!

  • tendulkar is old

  • @knpradeep77 7 ... mate indians are way worse... look up Indian Cricket - Unsportsmanlike & Cheaters

in this clip u will see the indians do everything u have just mentioned to me and worse... Match fixing, ball tampering, the works..basically anything to try n win a game.. DOGS!!! dont point the finger when the indian cricket team has been accused and found guilty of the same and much worse... i think match fixing and ball tampering is much worse than sledging and everyone would agree.

  • @Mopstylz

the guy who produced that video with help of stills are clearly mocking himself, harbhajan was confused thinking he was stumped, and u shud see how mc grath fought with hayden, and dhoni's catch, you shud have seen his reaction after understanding it was noa catch (not like slater fought with dravid), and regarding sledging allegations, it was only tit for tat. infact when indians do it is unsporty, but when aussie do it is part and parcel fo game, auss also got punished so many

  • @Mopstylz

and regarding the monkey incident, so many people have clarified it was 'teri maa ki) which is a very very common slur among men from the part of country where harbhajan comes from and the ball tampering, even the third umpire later admitted sachin was only cleaning the ball, but he did that without permission of umpire. if the fielding team use any object, even a hand kercheif, it needs umpires permission, which sachin did not seek. but he never did ball tampering,

  • @knpradeep77 .. mate where do u live? wat country?

  • @Mopstylz

but u r clearly a racist and you bark like this everywhere. no pint in further discussions, u say u dont beg and we say when Aussies begged to even tiny nations like singapore when nature struck upon u in the form of floods and wildfires

whereas india dint look for foreign help even in the case of the tsunami or the biggest earthquakes.

i dont have more time to waste on worthless like you

    bye

  • thats y they changed the rule because it conflicted with the other (original) rule which im informing u about that the ball is dead until the bowler has firstly completed his action and then released the ball but wat im saying should happen is the umpire should warn them and if he does it over and over the umpire should call a run short because technically wen the ball was released and the ball is "in play" a full run was not completed as he was not behind the line when the ball was delivered..

  • Ok people, this dismissal is weird not for the obvious reason. Watch Kapil Dev unhappy sending Kirsten back. How many times have you seen a bowler disgusted at the opponent because they make a silly mistake and lose wicket?

  • @meercatzz

exactly. only those who have something inside their skull can understand that. kapil repeatedly asked kirsten to be inside the crease until he completes his bowling and there is limit for patience

  • even though im pakistani, i dont think any of our bowlers have the genius in them to take a wicket without the ball leaving the hand. quite talented. well i suppose we don't need that kind of cheating or bad sportsmanship whatever you call it.

  • wow wata cheater.

  • hahahahaha india's best known bowler at his best!!!!!!!!

  • what a wicket awesome deception!

  • Indians love having a sook at everyone but ignore the fact that they are dirty cheats!

  • @TheRorywilson22

Its funny you call Indians cheats when the video clearly shows that its the white thrash cricket team that is at fault... earlier the rules were that you could stump the runner out if they are out of the crease.. they have changed it though... how is this cheating?? learn some cricket hahaha

  • This is just as bad as the underarm incident.

  • @Jellybeantiger

very true, What kirsten did was as disgraceful as the underarm incident. Kapil warned him thrice not to start the run up before the bowling action is over, still he did that for fourth time. Kapil had no other choice but to appeal. even more disgraceful was the way kirsten reacted, as if it was Kapils mistake. Lucky for him that it was kapil on the other side who warned him thrice. If it was an aus bowler, he wud have got out on the first instance itself, without any warning

  • Not out. The rule says that if the bowler is in his delivery stride as Kapil was then he cannot run out the batsman at the popping crease and so a dead ball must be declared.

  • @irishgodfatherchris fuck rules

  • @irishgodfatherchris

as per rules, the ball is in action from the moment the bowler starts his run up until the ball is returned to the keeper or the bowler or umpire. a run out can happen even during the delivery stride. So this out is completely legal.

as per logic, if this is not out, the non-striker need not wait in the crease, instead wait at the middle length of the pitch when the bowler start his run up, for a very easy single.

  • Comment removed

  • doesn't suit the title .. TOP WEIRD WICKET ..

Hint: it isn't .. if this kinda wicket wasn't allowed then .. the batsman would have completed run before bowler comes into ball :P :D :))

  • This is why they changed the mankad rule! Typical indian! will do anything to try n win even if it is unsportsman like... he was 6 inches out of the crease... find me a ball where that doesnt happen these days please...everyone does it! its like the fielders walking in with the bowler.. well technically once the bowler is in his stride the field isn't suppose to change but its just one of those things.. yea the non striker coulda timed it a lil better but way to take it to far kapil! doosh

  • @Mopstylz he warned him 3 times before he ran him out for backing too far...btw that comment is pretty funny coming from an aussie haha everyone knows what happened in sydney in 08 and what u have been doing since many years..typical aussies will do anything to try and win even if unsportsman like...

  • @sweetestchick90

    good reply friend

  • @Mopstylz

you think warning thrice before appealing is unsportsman like? in place of Kapil if it was an Aus or SA bowler, they wud not have warned even once, so do you think that is sportsman like?

have you ever ever heard about the underarm incident? search for 'most disgraceful incident in cricket' and see. do you think what aus did in the last ball is sportsman like? was it an indian bowler there?

when india do, it is unsporty, when others do it is part of the game, what a rule it is?

  • @knpradeep77 .. yes obviously i have heard about the underarm incident.. i compare that to a mankad.. disgracful! its sumthing u should never do!

let the umpire pull him up.. its actually a rule of the game that u cant leave your crease before the ball is bowled if u weren't aware..so technically the ball is dead until the bowler releases the ball right? so did kapil complete his action and release the ball? No,it remained in his hand the entire time. let the umpire rule on the rules of the game

  • @Mopstylz

let me humbly inform u that this kind of dismissal was completely legal as per the then rules and if it was illega, of course the learned umpires wud not have given out. but since then the rules have changed and now it is not possible to give out like that.

but u should imagine the case when the batsman go and start his run once the bowler start his run up, by the time the bowling action is completed, the batsman can almost reach midway making easy singles,

  • @Mopstylz

and the way u said it, 'typical indian' - u search for the following in youtube and u see how many of those from indians.

    slater sledges dravid

    shameful umpiring

    australian team pushes sharad pawar

    most disgraceful moment in cricket

the right term for unsportiness wud be 'typical aussie style', where as here Kapil has proven how good a portsman he and indians in general are by warning thrice before taking a legal wicket

  • @Mopstylz

and regarding ur 'typical indian' remark, the whole world knows australians not only in cricket, but in any sport will go to the extend within the rules to win the game at any cost, even if it is their reputation, however unsporty the way is. that has been proven again and again in the examples i mentioned previously

i did not have any intention to offend aussies, but when a blind man wheel chaired for life calls another man who can walk upright a handicap, i was forced to say this

  • @knpradeep77 ... ok mate clearly ur an idiot! wats the difference between mankading sumone and the underarm incident.. both were in the rules of them game at the time. ur agrument is floored because ur saying that the mankad was within the rules so its ok... NO ITS NOT... they are both unsportsmen like.... and mate dont point fingers at aussies when indians cripple there own children and put them on the street to beg for money... would any australian ever do that? HELL NO!!! get a life champ!

  • @Mopstylz

my dear friend, i f i am an idiot, u r super super super idiot that u cannot understand even simple things

i said kapil and indian team showed sportsman spirit t(and will always do that) here and kirsten did not by the way Kapil warned him thrice. as it was a legal wicket, an unsporty AUssie bowler wud have taken the wicket in the first time itself. whereas Kapil didnt. that is how he is a good sportsman and AUssie is not.

  • @Mopstylz

And the legality came into picture only aftee somebody questioned its legality and i had to expalin it is clearly within the rules and if not umpires (who knows much better that both of us) wud not have given it out. but legality is nto a question here but the spirit is. which kapil proved by warning thrice unlike the others

  • @Mopstylz

and u must have seen india is struck by several several biiger antural disasters and we humbly refused all foreign aids because we were capable of dealing with the situation ourself. y dint ur goverment say a HELL NO!!!! and shamelesssly went begging for foreign assistance?

man, indian must be poor financially and u r a rich country so u can make fun of the poverty in india, but when nature strikes, even the richest of the richest like you will go begging, but india wont.

  • @Mopstylz

one comment didnt appear, so i am repeating

When nature struck aus in the form of wild fires and floods, they got help and alms from even a tiny nation like singapore. where as u must have sen India was struck with even bigger natural calamities, but we humbly turned down offers of foreign assistnace because we were capable of dealing ourself

y dint ur goverment say a HELL NO!!!! and shamelesssly went begging for foreign assistance?

  • @knpradeep77 .. mate uve taken the arguemnt away from this clip... shut ya mouth because im sure u dont know wat ur talking about... has australia not given assistance to americans fro hurricane katrina, or the tsunami victims in thaland and neighbouring contries?, or the new zealand earthquakes?, the list goes on... we arent beggin for assistance.. allies come forward and offer assistance... just like we do for them... thats wat mates/freinds do for eachother! dont talk about wat u dont know

  • @Mopstylz

u started taking the arguement away from cricket by pointing about begging like a racist do. and i gave u a fitting reply when they sought help from tiny nation of singapre, which india never did

u (america and australia) must be begging to each other when in need, but spare our poor in indiaif they beg within the coutry. india never came to australia begging like what u did to singapore. shame on u mr rich begger

  • @knpradeep77 .. once again u have no idea wat ur talking about...are u a professor or a professional in international relations? NO far from.. go back to bollywood u idiot! if the indian government wasnt so corrupt (like thier cricket team) and actually looked after its people and had thier best interests at heart then maybe people there wouldnt flee to australia to live a better quality of life, get educated etc and we'd actually have a cab driver that doesn't almost kill u or rip u off! ...

  • @Mopstylz why do you talk so much shit? your mom didnt give you a cookie this morning?
