@Spectron38 depends on what you mean b y "old". the 80's-95 japanese version had a very upbeat sountrack that is similar to Kai. the 99-2003 american version had midi guitar and synth music.
@seriousman006 take the episode where frieza was floatin in space wit half his head missin. in dbz there were a couple of globs of blood floatin woit him n his blood was red. dbz kai took the blood globs away n his wounds were gray. they pg'd it dude

@HYPERSILVER7 i think that the regular dbz is better because they mabye cancelling kai but, dbz has more action and more action but, i can agree with u with the quality and the true manga though!
@HYPERSILVER7 i agree, but Nickelodeon butchered it by cutting most of the action. of course they had to for the kiddies lol, but that's the reason most people don't like Kai very much. and the fact that some of the new voice actors in the dubbed version are HORRIBLE replacements, like Ginyu, Guldo, Gohan, Bulma, etc. (i did like Frieza's a lot more.) but yeah i like the absence of fillers, in any anime to be honest.
