a cutting horse is guided to begin with..after time the trainer lets him start making decisions on his own..correcting anything that is done wrong.

this is a good video that shows that when you train a horse correctly to do something, you dont even need to guide them with the reins.

Your comments show your lack of knowledge...not "guiding" with the reins is how cutting horses are ridden and shown.

my lack of knowledge has nothing to do with it. whether or not you guide the horse with reins in cutting is not the point. If you teach ANY horse in ANY competition or anything the correct way they will follow your directions WITHOUT reins.
