I've seen a 85' bmw 325 with a 3.5 six out of an old 7 series beating the crap out of Z06 and vipers out in the everglades (south florida). Only making 500hp and a little over 600 torque with a Hx35 turbo of a diesel truck and Mega Squirt managment. The whole project cost the guy less than 5 grand.

I've seen a 85' bmw 325 with a 3.5 six out of an old 7 series beating the crap out of Z06 and vipers out in the everglades (south florida). Only making 500hp and a little over 600 torque with a Hx35 turbo of a diesel truck and Mega Squirt managment. The whole project cost the guy less than 5 grand.

@izzy2724 i know right , but people are still think the supra can beat the saleen. tell them read more about cars, try to but magazines Car and Driver, so this is what i said about the video, i posted on youtube. watch this viseo again and listen to both cars' engine, at 3 seconds the saleen let go of the pedal for almost 2 seconds, and supra was trying reall hard to catch up. then for the reast of the video tjhe supra still trying, and saleen accelerate slowly

Saleen is n/a. Try to race saleen S7R and outcome would be completely deferent - and that's only drag race. On the race circuit, this 550hp n/a S7 will destroy supra. And it's expected, one is sports car and another one is a race car. Also, 7.0 V8TT >>> 3.0 I6T

I ain't suprised of the outcome though cuz a Supra if it is built right is a hell of a amazing car. There are so many built muscle cars all around here in America that I don't think ppl have a clue. I come from a town of 5,000 ppl and I know of 5 right now that would do the same thing this supra did

@DroidDoes21 listen to both engines' sound the saleen wasn't trying, @3 seconds of the video, the saleen driver let go the gas for almost 2 seconds. the supra was accelerating the whole time. saleen 0-60 is 2.8, do you think that supra can do that. the engine sound wasnt sound like a 400hp car at all, saleen has 850hp

Supra is the best tuned car and if its tuned nicely it can hold with super cars with a lot less money.So lets be smart here, do you have a 2010 saleen s7 or something? Adding twin turbos on the saleen, it would need a little bit more mod to go with it and its worth more than how much you make in a lifetime. So supra wins

People will stop and ask you about your S7 wether they know anything about it or not. You are right though as far as money and prices of the car. But I havn't seen a Supra do 248mph yet. Oh yea btw you can now buy a Saleen for under 200 grand. I'd take the 40 grand you have invested in the supra and build a V8 that will run 7 seconds in the quater.

@chilenopride9 plus if you wan't to say that I can't do it then your wrong. NHRA cars will run a quater in under 3 seconds and they are powered by a V8. The V8 engine is pushing 6000 horses. No offense but your imports arn't capable of handling that much horsepower. I spent 16 grand on my 94 Cobra and had it running low 10's I'm sure if I had 40 grand to blow I could manage to get it to run in the 7's

@F4WL3N yes that it has to be rebuilt after every run I agree. But here in Kansas our laws as to what you can't have on your vehicle are well none. As long as the guy had headlights, tailights, turn signals and a exhuast exit the car is legal. The dmv checks the vin number, size of engine, miles, and year of the vehicle that is it. Wichita, Kansas is home to the guy who owns the worlds fastest street legal car. It have over 2000 horses. My friends 69 SS Camaro is a daily driver and runs 6s

Yeah, kansas is pretty lax on street legality, but those cars arent very safe to be driving on the street at all, either... especially with that kind of power (and the mileage would be almost null...).. The truck in my videos (dads truck) is fairly squirrely on the street as it is.. have to be really light on the pedal.. and the milage is terrible...

@chilenopride9 The s7 comes with TT's just not this version, i believe the supra had about 200 xtra ponies on the s7 an no matter what u drive or how expensive it is, if it's donw on HP it's gonna lose, i still respect that supra though cuz its fast an thats all that really matters but i'd have like to see the supra go up against the TT version, that would have been the right race, i know this version is $500.000 y i dunnoi can only imagine how much the TT version cost
