Hello there i was wondering which Laptop was better overall the MSI GT780DXR or the Asus Republic of Gamers G74SX-NX1?? I can get either but im still undecided on which one to get?
@1337soundeZ it's increasing the performance of your gpu or cpu with a program such as msi afterburner or even amd has overdrive with their catalyst software. The new MSI's such as this one comes with TDE so you can overclock up to 30% I believe in just the click of a button.
hi, the video is not mine, so i think you should ask to GenTechPC, the owner of this videoclip. I just can say to you, if you want overclock the gpu, try Rivatuner or ATitool.
Gentech, with oc i see this time it never goes under 30 fps... in the other video sometimes the fps was under 30... so, it is always playable? lags? recording eat fps? pls reply
what is the normal fps should the computer have?ive seen that your laptop run on 40+ and sometimes goes to 30.30 fps is still okay?or its like laggy already?tia we might also buy msi soon.
@Gotziem You don't know what sli/cfx is and what it requires if you ask stupid questions like that.No it does not support it and neither does it support the high end Gpu's. It doesn't have the cooling nor the power supply to handle those cards.
Sli/Cfx in laptops is for enthusiast who can solve the problem they might represent.Something you are obviously not!
@Gotziem You might have to wait for a new model to come out. As of right now, they only offer the 570m in their products. MSis have are engineered to be extremely cool yet powerful. You might need to look at a Sager, Origin, Alienware, or Falcon NW for that type of product offering. But at the price point MSi is offering these laptops at, you just can't beat it.
Dont be so harsh when laptops do run SLI. It just has to come pre configured with the dual cards already in. Its not like a desktop where u just slap in another GTX570 and have at it. But i habe seen laptops where its running a 6970M and the guy adds another phsical GPU with a small CF bridge and a complete other 6970M into the laptop.

DeeJay33133 4 months ago
@DeeJay33133 You'll need an overvolted gtx580m running at 800/1600/3600.Even that might not be enough.
