I don't think "World War Z" should be turned into a movie, but rather a series. Say 10 one hour episodes that depict different stories from the book. That would be awesome if say HBO did it.

Now that is an excellant idea. It would be a great show, but it would have to be a production company that wouldn't mess it up. Maybe as you said HBO Space, or even BBC4 if they could get the right people to develop it. World War Z could only work if they did it like the book... with vignettes. A movie would only lose what made the book worth reading... the Studs Terkel oral history flavour.
