  • Great!

  • I love the organ in this tune. Very rousing.

  • The Casavants at Sewanee are so lovely - I have had the privilege of playing both of them, this and the great organ in All Saints. I am a student organist - great to hear your last verse reharm.

  • is this arrangement available anywhere?

  • Not until I compose it somewhere other than in my head.

  • @obxemt How unfortunate. It's wonderful!

  • @speaks3703 Thank you, that is very kind. :-)

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (Jan.17), we sang this as our opening hymn. I also played it at a local Lutheran Church that I filled in at today. We sang because it refered to Jesus changing water into wine, which was the Gospel for today (John 2: 1-11). It is #310 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship.

  • Hopefully also because it is the second Sunday after the Epiphany! ;-)

  • @obxemt Yes. That, too. And the ELCA is on the C series on readings this year, which is mainly from Luke.

  • Ah, nice nice NICE!! love your reharmonization on the last stanza. I really enjoyed that. Great post!
