  • Paul is a straight up beast

  • ROCKLIFTING AT HOME WORD PAUL U THE MAN.

  • I'm 53, I work out alot but had an injury back n August that still hurts. Gonna try this routine tonight. Thanks Paul, great workout.

  • youre an inspiration Paul! Thanks for your videos!

  • Man, he is so srong and hot. He has to be the sexiest 50 year old ever or 40 year old for that matter. His chest and arms are crazy sexy. The woman must crazy over him.

  • Hi Paul. Thanks for this great video. I've now integrated the crawl into my exercise routine - very fun and challenging to do. I was wondering if there were any articles/reference to this exercise anywhere. I've tried search google for all sorts of combination for the name of this exercise, and to my surprise couldn't find anything useful. You're also the first person I've seen who uses this variation of the exercise.

  • Dear @jonathanbluestein,

I developed that variation of the exercise for "working-out" on my own, but it is essentially a more radical version of reptilian crawling as found in infant development. I'd suggest reading "Wisdom Of The Body Moving" by Linda Hartley. My book "Movement That Matters" also shows you the basic science for breaking movement patterns down.

    Much chi,

    Paul Chek

  • What is the name of the device that is attached to the barbell for the single arm pulls?

  • Awesome workout ole fella.

  • Thanks for the video :)

  • Paul is right, he is an expensive date @ $500/hour! Well worth it though! I love those cross body rows! :-D

  • Does the camera man have Parkinson's or was he jerking off? Either way fire him.

  • You are quite an inspiration I am going on 51 and I amazed on how fit you are , I am a former bodybuilder that is looking ot jump back on stage at some point. Thanks for sharing your tips

  • Paul, im 47 and Ive read that men our age aren't capable of producing testosterone beyond 1hr and therefore any strength training beyond that time is wasted. Is there any truth to this info and how long should a typical strength training session last? Thanks for all the great videos!

  • Dear mtbkbmt, that's not my experience.

For best results, keep your training sessions to no longer than 45 minutes. Keep total sets to between 6 and 12 quality sets. If you can't improve on your last workout by 1-3%, "you don't belong in the gym. You will only accelerate the aging process if you break this rule of thumb...

    Much chi,

    Paul Chek

  • May I ask you where I can get that contraption attached to the barbell for the single arm pulls. Thank. John, UK

  • @TRAINwithTRAN You can get a similar maching called a 'grappler'. I have one and it is cheaper than the 'contraption (lol) that Paul is using. If you go onto ebay Wolverson fitness is selling them cheap or you can buy them from wolverson fitness website but they are slightly cheaper on ebay.Copy and paste this:

Land Mine Grappler Torso Trainer MMA Training Rotation.

    have fun

  • Dear TRAINwithTRAN,

I think my buddy got it from the Iron Mind web site.

    Much chi,

    Paul Chek

  • Loving the workout videos, Paul. Thanks for doing these.

  • Thanks Paul! I appreciate your applicable knowledge you share. Great exercise performance, especially at your age.

  • Yeah Baby! Woo!!

  • You are an awesome specimen for a man who is turning 50. You are an inspiration.

  • "You need high tension exercise" laughing my arse off.....YOU NEED MORE TESTOSTERONE MR Check...:) which you probably amply use. But you call it "Hormone therapy" :)

  • @MrSinnerstefan While it is true that a lot of how much muscle mass you can gain or retain, as you get older, is determined by your testosterone, and can be assisted by testosterone replacement, or to use the more politically correct term - "hormone therapy" - that doesn't mean that his training is not still a large factor in why he looks and performs so well at 50. Testosterone replacement is common for middle age men nowadays. Paul Chek's physique is not commonly found in most of them.

  • Dear @MrSinnerstefan.

You are guessing. Since I'm right here, I can assure you, I do all that I do to keep my self healthy naturally. I do NOT use any hormone replacement therapy outside of good diet, sound use of the science of exercise, and being committed to living within the temple of health and well-being.

Now you know what is possible!

    Much chi,

    Paul Chek

  • @PaulChekLive I was told by that you always drop the weight at the speed of gravity, while putting the wieght down during a deadlift. Is this incorrect?

  • Dear HappierHealthierYou,

The speed of movement dramatically changes the result of the exercise with any exercise. You can learn all about such issues in my correspondence course titled "Program Design".

    Much chi,

    Paul Chek

  • @PaulChekLive And where do I find this "Program Design" course. Thank you for you response. I am defiantly going to be designing my next workout routine based on the knowledge I learn form your progams.

  • @HappierHealthierYou Program Design & Advanced Program Design can be found on chekinstitute[.]com i also invite you to check out ppssuccess[.]com as well
